Got glarial's pebble and amulet back, chartered to Port Tyras, got annoyed at the sticks, finally got past them to the elves and then realized I had already done this quest.
Please give this all a thumbs up so everybody sees this! READ BEFORE START! At the start of the quest you only need "Glarial Peddle"! You can get the amulet during the quest! Make sure you take enough food with you, I have 72 att/73 str/ 70 def and he hits 13's! Just 2 tips for anyone doing this quest these days. You no longer need a glarials amulet to enter the waterfall, and for the stick traps just spam click it youll never fail.

Just wanted to a couple things that might help people. You can wear the god books into the tomb. You can’t make a free crystal halberd unless you have the hard Western provinces diary. Using a Ring of Carlos will make the charter ships cheaper. The crystal items no longer lose stats as they are used more and more. When you use the last charge it will just turn into a seed. If you use Protection prayers then the shield and armor won’t lose any chargers.
DO NOT GET A CRYSTAL SHIELD AT THE END IF YOU WISH TO DO WESTERN HARD DIARIES! It will be 600k if you want to buy another crystal weapon seed AND she will charge you 900k to turn it into a crystal bow. Learned this the hard way 5 minutes ago.

For those who didn't read the book that could be provided to you by Ilfeen, the reason the price of turning your crystal seed into another object becomes cheaper is because Ilfeen is learning more about us each time we transform the seed. It is noted in the book that the pitch can change the shape and size of any facet of the seed and doing so for someone for their first time is costly and time consuming. But as you learn more about the person you are enchanting for the process becomes cheaper and easier to do.

btw to make things easier take your ardy teleport rune to the moss giant fight but drop em before entering then when you kill it take them back and teleport to adry, to skip the run back
Crystal equipment stats no longer become gradually lower as the weapon degrades, converting all imbued crystal shields into crystal weapon seeds and removing the ability to imbue them through Nightmare Zone. The crystal shield can now alternatively be made through crystal shards instead of paying Ilfeen.
Hey man it would be really cool if you could just say "don't touch those things over there" or whatever instead of saying things like "if you look north you will see some cups.. DONT TOUCH THOSE." thats what messes a few people up, like in underground pass you do the same thing with a tunnel that takes you back to the start. start the sentence with "dont.." to avoid any accidents. it hasnt happened to me but im sure lots of people would really appreciate it!
Yea, there's been times I anticipate or follow as he does things. Sometimes he makes mistakes, it's true. I always read the comments first, which combined with his work are the best guides there is. I also let it play ahead of me so I'm aware of things prior to actually being there.

You don't need to get the amulet back anymore for this quest due to an update, also the price of the charter ships were halved because you have the Cabin Fever quest completed.

it cost only 800gp if using ring of charos(a), also in nov 2017 boss fight: moss giant does hit through prayer but not as often as without and much less damage, just in case people still using this guide

Pretty sure it looked like the giant was splashing because it used a mage attack. Not sure but that's what it looked like,would explain why protect from melee didn't work
DO NOT GET THE CRYSTAL SHIELD AT THE END. Get the crystal bow instead so you don't have to waste 1m on buying the crystal bow for the western provinces diary. Upvote so others can see.

For those who don't know, completing Cabin Fever cuts your travel in half from 3200 to 1600. If you have a Ring of Charos (a) it cuts it again to 800.

The moss giant in glorial's tomb uses melee and magic. Use protect from melee prayer and he will barely touch you.
btw to make things easier take your ardy teleport rune to the moss giant fight but drop em before entering then when you kill it take them back and teleport to adry, to skip the run back

Didn't let me bring a clue scroll in, yet lets you bring in furies, combat bracelets and combat potions... Don't make sense.

I’m pretty sure you don’t need to amulet if you’ve completed waterfall quest. At least I forgot the amulet and went in anyway unscathed.
