Just installed these. A real pita. To get the bottom bolt in, you need to take a pry bar and rotate the arm to get the rear of the lower bolt to go all the way through. Rear end feels more stiff when the suspension moves up and down

    Thanks for including torque specs

You need to jack up the arm alone in order for that bottom bolt to fit if not you’ll be there for more than you have too

Ok KNUCKLEHEADS lol j/k. come on guys the install is buttery easy save your selves some headaches on the lower bolt. just put your jack under the lower control arm and raise it slightly till the top bolt slides in, then insert the bottom bolt. if it stcks just lower the control arm or raise it a hair, it will go in real easy. This install should take you about 40-45 mins to do. No need to make more work for yourself, just use your jack :) hope this helps....

Mine have been squeaking because the grease they give is trash but I refuse to go through the stress of trying to install these again. this and the irs bushings were just horrendous

I'm in the same situation. I supported the knuckle from underneath and I
still cant get the lower bolt all the way through. If there is special
technique to this it should be spelled out in the video. Not sure I
will be able to fix this.

The way I did it was bottom first, jacked that b*** all the way up and stuck a big screw driver through the knuckle and the toe link and lowered it slowly... Boom lol first one took hours, second 15 min lol

Hey thanks for all the awesome videos. I have a non performance pack gt and have pretty bad wheel hop. Does it seem like non pp mustangs have more of a wheelhop issue due to a softer spring causing more movement in the suspension? I'll be ordering parts as soon as the weather starts getting nice. Wheelhop is driving me crazy. Thanks again

Sam Scornaienchi I have the same model as yours as and went with Steeda bushings and subframe brace but noticed the ride quality isn't as good as before and much stiffer ride but tolerable! I actually like the fact that the base GT has a soft ride but now it's really firmed up and more disappointed because Steeda says it's not suppose to affect our ride quality. It's major winter here in Canada but from what I can see the take is much better and will improve even more when I get my Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3's back on the car in the spring time.

@@peterpeters4111 super late reply but I’m glad for your feedback. I have an 18 gt non pp and I actually wouldn’t want to give up the comfort of this suspension. I’m on eibach pro kit lowering springs but I didn’t think I would like any more stiffness. Maybe just a set of beefier swaybars will do.

It's that replacement require any alignment? Or don't have anything to do with alignment? I'm really consider to upgrade this stuff in the spring.

Cj pony part, how well do these work without the subframe connectors with a full bolt on 2016. Should I go ahead and get both or will this be sufficient?
