How to record tutorial like you with piano, score and face altogether . Which software do you use ? Can we use only with Ipad Pro for doing this ? Big thanksss
I use the software OBS. There's some videos we made showing part of the process: czcams.com/video/7jmazdGqVPA/video.html czcams.com/video/fiJb2REiM0U/video.html
Even though its quite easy to connect Bluetooth MIDI, is it always more preferable to use a wired connection between the ipad and DP? I am just guessing that even Bluetooth 5.0 will have latency making it less accurate for Piano Marvel's assessment?
I use Bluetooth MIDI every single day and have absolutely zero issues with latency. That being said, I have my iPad audio being routed through my digital piano so I can use my piano's built in piano sound and not the virtual piano from PM. Does that make sense?
@@kaichan5493 No, I just use Bluetooth MIDI and have zero issues with latency. Bluetooth Audio doesn't work best with my setup so I haven't tried it unfortunately. 😬
Hi Josh, I have tried and tried to achieve bluetooth but to no avail. In NZ the keyboards in all the shops (including my own) don't have usb ports they all use a printer cable connection. I have tried using an adaptor to make it work with the bluetooth adapter and it doesn't work. Is there an option? or am I out of luck.
You can definitly make it work. I would use the UD-BT01 I mentioned in this video and plug the printer cable into the piano on one said and theater into the UD-BT01. Then, your signal will be broadcast through the UD-BT01. Make sense? 😊
@@PianoMarvel Thanks Josh, (I emailed and left message on forum) I have finally solved the issue. Went to the CME Widi website and they explained that I needed to update the firmware. Done and reset then wolla, it is all go! Finally, after 6 months of battling.
How can I select 2 different INPUTs in MIDIberry so that it sends messages to 2 different ports? I want to use WIDI uHost (connected Yamaha YDS-120 saxophone) and DOREMIDI UTB-21 (Roland fp-30 digital piano) at the same time - I want to have everything on different ports and go to Kontakt 7. It would be useful to run two separate MIDIberries, but this is impossible. Any ideas how to solve this?
I’m honestly not sure about this. But, I’d be surprised if there wasn’t a splitter or duplicate of some sort that lets you broadcast the same midi to two places. I usually don’t mess with midi out that much, but more midi in.
@@joshmills754 I managed to do it. I can connect two midibluetooth devices at the same time. The solution is the BLE-Midi Connect program from the Microsoft Store. It works just like MIDI-Berry - unfortunately it does not show messages, but it allows you to connect more MIDI Bluetooth devices at the same time.
Hi! Chat GPT told me “One great option for controlling Logic Pro from a distance is using a wireless MIDI controller or a Bluetooth MIDI device. These allow you to command the software remotely. You can assign functions like record, pause, and undo to buttons or knobs on the MIDI controller, giving you control from wherever you are in the room.” Is this true? Thanks a ton:)
I have tried it before, but when using my Mac I find that the Bluetooth MIDI is a bit cumbersome and I would rather use a USB cable where I don't have to worry about if it's connected or not.
I would think the Bluetooth modules I show here would work with any other brands digital piano just fine. I also used a different brand of Bluetooth modules recently: CME WIDI Bud Pro. I liked it, too!
I have a lag between when I press the key and when it sound via my wifi speaker. How can I correct the latency? I connect to my MacBook AIr and have a bluetooth Sony Speaker.
Hmm, this may or may not be fixable depending on a few things. First it would be helpful to know what kind of piano you have. Then, U might even have you try the iOS app if that's possible. Maybe we talk via email? My email is josh@pianomarvel.com
@@BreathEmpowerment our webapp already works on website view on Android. But, our native Android app will hopefully be coming in a few months. But, it’s hard to say exactly on that….
Hmmm. My USB cable (USB-B out from my Kawai digital piano to the USB-C in of my laptop) is no bother and Bluetooth for this connect is not even on my wish list. But WHAT IS on my wish list is this: I dislike using headphones at home so I take a 3.5 mm audio cable from the audio out of the laptop into the 3.5 mm input jack of the digital piano. I turn off the "Virtual Piano" feature on Piano marvel. Even then, there is a very faint crackle and hum that I can hear on the Kawai's speakers. I can live with it, but if only the USB works as a TWO WAY STREET from the piano back into it, that would be awesome. But as I see it now, USB only carries MIDI signals from the piano to the laptop, one way. Ah, well. But wait: I could buy a MIDI In/Out to USB-C cable, would that send a MIDI signal back to the keyboard so I can hear the sound from the laptop without using an audio cable??? Amazon has one (Lekato brand) for $20.

Do you know whether you can run. Bluetooth midi and wired midi into the iPad at the same time? ie. 2 sources?
Yes you can 😊
