I have seen several vídeos about lacing a wheel, but this one is by far they Best. Thanks
Also check when you rotate the hub that the spokes adjacent to the valve hole are parallel to the valve, and not crossing it. Then you know you rotated correctly.
Super helpful thank you
Excellent tutorial. Very well explained dude. Thankyou 👍
Useful video, built around 10 wheels with 3 cross already, going to be building my first one in 2 cross now. Nice technique to align the logo, been eye balling it usualy 😅
Thank you so much. Your beginning information is exactly what I need to know!!!
Thank You. I'm not sure why I struggled watching other how to. Yours click in my head right away and was able to finish my wheel I had sitting around for 6 months. Took my time and got it all centered, ready to go.
We're glad you found our tutorial useful!
Thanks for the video ......I've decided to use 2 cross on a 20 inch wheel rim 32 holes for my delta trike rear right single speed 22t surley hub .....do you think 2 cross will be ok
Asymetric Offset 4mm
I am building Santa Cruz reserve 29 30mm 28h. What do I need to do to lace this wheel? Anyway special
Question - How do you determine the key spoke on a straight pull hub?
I also line up my tyre logos with the rim logos. I'm like that :-)
Well done sir. Your explanation was clear and concise.
Great video.. any chance you doing a video on am930s ?
Hi, thank you for the suggestion. We currently don't have a video like that in our queue, but we are happy to help you. Please refer to our User Guide here: www.lightbicycle.com/support/user-guides You can also reach out to sales@lightbicycle.com if you have any questions. Ali Clarkson, one of our ambassadors made an extensive video on rim lacing: czcams.com/video/EEv9IqMvUnQ/video.html&t= You can jump to sections on things like asymmetric rims and 3-cross, in the video description.

@@jonienglish3231 That's awesome!
aligning the hub logo with the rim valve?... yeah!!!, because the Devil is in the details!
Thanks to God for straight pull spokes and hubs. J-Bend are mind boggling.
Didn't know about straight pull
www.ptcycles.co.uk/j-bend-vs-straight-pull-whats-the-
we cant see anything from that distance, u never explained wich side is the head of the spokes going, inside or out the center. also it just jumps to one stage to another without real explanation
happently head side does not matter as far as strengrh is concerned
Why don't any of you making these wheels say how many spokes are there? Everything seems to be for a 32
I have a 24 spoke wheel
Hi Scott, thank you for the feedback, we will try to include those details in future lacing videos. The spoke count will not affect the lacing method though. However, it does have an impact on the length of spokes to choose.
i appreciate you making this video. but your explanation is too advance. a rookie wont understand
Sorry dude but that was a pretty horrible video. you didn’t even clearly show the two most important spokes to put in, you just rush through it
indeed
@@nightfallondecadence1034 I agree. Horrible explanation. Must make sense for a "stoner"!
