Yes it is true but it also depends on other factors. How long is your flight, when you do it and what you use. What I do on board isn’t a real and full skincare routine. My skincare routine is always done before going on the plane. I quickly clean my skin but it is never throughout the flight and always few minutes before landing. The timing is very important. It is just to clean the dirt, sweat, feel fresh before going out. Even more on a night flight, I like the cold boost, it wakes me up and in this video also help with prep before makeup. I clear it with anti breakout mask, I never use something too harsh, just a quick clean. Then lock the moisture in with a face oil on fresh skin and then do make up if needed but most of the time I don’t. Throughout the flight we should only apply face oil/lip balm every few hours since water attracts water. I would never leave my skin with nothing on. The dry air is extra harsh on “naked skin”. Oils are great because they act has a barrier. So skincare before your flight and oil/balm during flight is a must. Also it depends on the timing of your flight. If your flight is short and you do a good skincare before, you don’t need to do it again or touch up. But if it’s a long one like mine, you have to at least reapply oil. What matter is what product you use before the flight more than anything really. Only when I reach home I do an actual full skincare routine. I clean my skin properly this time and take the time to lightly exfoliate, mask and then normal routine. It is trendy to do a FULL skincare on flight, there are many people doing it but as you said it right, it is not useful and counterproductive. Thank you for your comment, hope it helped ☺️❤️
