The other one is so harassed by her stupid boss, and his kind, but she handles them so professionally because she needs her job but doesn't want to flirt with those horrible men. Such a sound moral message for young girls. I like the good values and social message in this show.

Had the sister been a widow or her husband disabled, then I totally agree with the need for a better off brother to help assist with money.

I don't think it was about the way maleeha found out about the "affair". Even when the first time I watched this serial after being repeatedly convinced by my sister that this was reason maleeha is so upset with zara i refused to agree and kept looking for possible reasons. From what I know about human behaviour, it was about maleeha's ego which was bigger than any relationship in her life. Maleeha was used to helping zara which became like an addiction for her to boost her ego by helping a poor friend and feel better about herself. She was used to seeing zara at a lower level. With zara becoming her bhabi, two things would happen, 1. She can no longer help zara and feel like a bigger person. 2. Zara, someone she always saw as poor, broke and bechari, coming to her level. These things made maleeha do the things that she did to junaid and zara and eventually she told zara that she did that because they never told her about their affair which was a blatant lie.
This drama was aired 10 years ago & after 10 year I came across such comment for the very first time. You are 100 right. Maleeha & Zara were best friends, if Zara was hesitant to share her & Junaid's feeling with Maleeha "As You Tum Sy Jhijak Hoti Thi" then she should not have lied about the pendant that "Ye Mujhy Aasma Ny Dia HY" Zara herself arose doubts regarding her credibility by telling lie. It was natural if Maleeha is distrustful of Zara.But What Maleeha did is totally cheap Here step made her position worst Junaid will never marry again after divorcing Fizza & Maleeha will be held responsible for ruining his life.
