As an Indian and a teenager for me 2011 was special..but hands down this wc was the best of all times (probably among all sports)

I agree to the fact that it was very tough for the new Zealand, but you need to understand that there needs to be a definite winner.
Though one thing which I think would have been better is that if ICC made a rule better than this before the world cup started such as a bowl out or something if super over is also tied. But now it was too late to change rules, just imagine if they changed rules just for this match, don't u think it would have been unfair for England? As the rules stated at the start were something different.
I feel 2019 world cup was far better planned, recorded and executed. The world 2023 no hype looks boring, no ceremonies. Shit happens when politicians who has no knowledge of cricket organize an event.

The score card music, the theme music, everything about this world cup was just so special and incredible. 2019 was the last normal year or my life. @@vaibhavnayak233 for the overthrow for which 6 runs were given was the umpire fault. According to the rules of icc 5 runs should have been awaded. As till the time the ball hitted the bat the run second run was not complete. So total 5 runs should have been given instead of 6. And as you must be knowing there was a superover... If that extra single run would have not been given .. there would have been no super over. That is NZ or kiwis would have won.
NZ captain Kane Williamson and his team are calm. They could have complained about this but they didn't. NZ had full right to complain to icc and the match would have been cancelled or the ball would have been re bowled and the previous delivery would have been regarded as dead ball.
So hats off to the kiwis.. they are the actual champion..

Mohammad Faakhir what’s wrong with that law? Boundary count shows the aggressive and fearless intent playing the game. Whereas saving wickets and running singles shows reserved nature especially from fear of losing.

@@jibzra The rules are decided way in advance and these tiebreaker rules are created only in anticipation of the least probable outcomes, there is no way the icc could've expected this sort of an outcome.
@@dreamscapeai7 That's pretty much possible, just because it's highly unlikely dosent make it impossible. The rule should not be there, no harm in doing another super over until the tie is broken. Can't have the same outcome for an infinite amount of time.

As an India fan this was the best World Cup I have witnessed. Even though when India lost the semi-final I cried. I truly still love this World Cup. Now watching this in 2023 I get a nostalgic feeling for this World Cup in particular. I hope it’s the same feeling for 2023 Cricket World Cup in 2027.
