Played this at my darling Dads funeral . 1931-2022. He absolutely loved The Good The Bad and The Ugly. Dad had dementia, and I would play this to him he knew what it was straight away. But had no idea who I was. Love you Dad and miss you x
They also played this at my grandfathers funeral.
He passed quite suddenly, talking to my aunt afterwords i mentioned one of my fondest memories was the multiple rewatches of this film we shared (old italian guy loved his spaghetti westerns)
I couldnt make it to the funeral in time (from australia to europe), but my aunt requested this as the last piece of music played, brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it now but brings me back to the time we shared.

I saw him perform in Norway last Monday and holy hell... What an evening! I felt the tears and goosebumps through the entire concert. The man is 90 years old and performed for 2.5 hours. A true legend!

I had the onor to see him performing his general tests here in rome, the day before the concert. There was more people on stage that in the public. I've never cried as much as listening the ecstasy of gold in that occasion. That feel was so intense it need a new adjective to describe it

My father and I watched "Two Mules for Sister Sarah" today, my father is an old man to be a father and since I was young my father introduced me to all the bang bang spaghetti films that he knows and love, and most of them Ennio was present with his fantastic soundtrack. My father was a huge fan of Ennio's work, so I learnt from him what an amazing master Ennio was. After my father passed away, I kept listening to Ennio's masterpieces and remember those good times with my dad. So now, his passing strikes quite hard.

Burt Bacharach , altro Grandissimo e Geniale Compositore ( insuperabile ) era americano...e di Oscar ne ha conquistati " appena " 3,nonostante abbia composto straordinarie Colonne Sonore.
