in case you didn't know, college is hard and it is especially hard when you're going through medical school. most aren't married because their sole dedication is to their education during this time. after marriage, you give up a lot for your partner so to avoid that he waited until she was completely finished with school with no more distractions so that they can dedicate themselves to each other. not everyone is malicious and only a person with a negative mindset would make a comment like this. don't try to rain on their special moment.
It's not about being negative. I spoke my mind. It's my right to express my thoughts and it's up to you to give the reasons. Now that I know the why, I am aware and the case closed. Wish them my bests and God will guide through the journey . Peace! 👍
