Max finds a way to always come out on top and I respect that…whether it’s crazy weather at Canada or Zandvoort or run-ins with Russel, Max has shown masterful driving.
People and especially British media and content creators (Tommo putting out a whole video screaming at Wolff for losing his temper and saying the weekend hadn’t even started and the media are trying to bury the race and he was correct) tried to bury this race before the weekend ever started, it was fantastic. Max was correct about the ‘show’ vs passion for the race, but it was Vegas, what can anyone expect?
It’s important to remember that it was F1 that approached Vegas, not the other way around. They wanted the Vegas treatment, they got it. You get what you pay for. What did anyone expect. Kudos to the Vegas workers and locals who worked so hard to put this together and endured a lot of the unknown on their first street race.
You make some great points about not judging before we saw the race. I myself made a video but was more critical of the F1 organisation than Vegas itself. It was a great weekend once they figured everything out. The thing is that next year can’t have the same problems and had to go perfectly
Verstappen is just too good compared to all the other drivers.
This season he has been untouchable
Facts
love ur vids so much!! you're my fave F1 youtuber. and great haircut btw 😊
Thanks so much, the haircut was definitely needed
I think Ferrari is the only team who really challenged Red Bull this season. 'Steals' a win in Singapore and 7 pole positions, it would be silly if we say that Ferrari doesn't have a competitive car. Their real problem is more in strategy's side and their inconsistency. In fact, all other teams have problems with inconsistency that's why Red Bull could be so dominant this year because they're consistent and did minimal mistakes.
I completely agree I think that both Ferrari and McLaren are way closer to challenging Red Bull compared to the rest even though Mercedes are 2nd in the championship
I wonder if Charles would’ve been closer if he stopped for new hards when redbull did. That last lap past for second was awesome though.
Possibly, but the Red Bull did have better pace on the Hards so it would have still been tough to stick with Max
Max does have quite good luck and Charles has very bad luck but i think at this point its obviously a result of the teams they drive for. If Red Bull were in Ferrari's position at the safety car they tell Charles to just follow Perez into the pits and then trust the driving talent of their star man, and they'd make that decision quickly and decicively
That's true Max definitely has the better luck but as you said that usually comes from the fact he is in the better overall team. If Leclerc was in a Red Bull the story would be very different
Maybe Ferrari would win if they pitted on the saftey car. Max was lucky it was warmer than expected.
He definitely benefitted from the higher temps and better pace on the hard tyres
My man with the fresh trim I see you
Nice Video!
Do you know why Lando crashed?
From what I have seen just lost the car on cold tyres 😬
So without the safety car. You're saying Verstappen would still have won?
I think so, it would have been close but his pace on the hard tyres was very good
JUST BECAUSE STROLL HAD TO GOOD RACES HE STILL HAS TO GO
I agree, but if he is staying then it’s a start to saving his seat. Similar with Logan
Ummm Max had a badly compromised front wing and people still think this was close 😂 they have the engine turned down as when did they take a unit???
U dont gotta change the context of my comment in the thumbnail lol.
Sorry needed a punchy statement 😅
@@NotApplicableF1 naa its fine. Its very Cool being in the thumbnail of a video its never happened to me before.
Great video. Forgot to mention Alfa Romeo. I feel sorry for Bottas should of gotten points but Alonso has just to ruined it.
Also I know you are going to make a F1 Alfa/Sauber ranking video but funny enough F1ENDS is also going to make that video too I suggest watching his content and spoiler alert he is funny and entertaining I suggest watch is videos from the past.
True I did feel for Bottas at the start.
That's cool, I will have to check out some of his stuff. Thanks for the recommendation!
Hello angry, complaining lewis Disciples and salty Brits 👋
not all brits are Lewis fans... 😉
@@NotApplicableF1 I know
Max has a habit of being "lucky".
You make your own luck
OSCAR HIT LEWIS
poor Sainz, where is Michael the Messy when he is needed?
Yeah I did feel really bad for Sainz. Just unlucky he was the driver to take the fall on this one
Max should have given the place back at the start. He asked for this in Abu Dhabi very quickly from Lewis and the stewards...
He RACES again the same way he did against Lewis as soon as he sees that the opponent is strong...
He probably should have but also knew the punishment was only a 5 sec penalty and he would rather take that and keep track position
And he was on order from his team to stay ahead of the pack
@@willyvanloon1440 Yeah Redbull as usual..
“Charles Leclerc on another day could have taken him…???” I think you mean, Charles Leclerc on another TEAM could have done it. With a real strategy team. 🤣🤣🤣 Not this muppet organization that Ferrari has become. And I love Ferrari so don’t @ me with any nonsense. Lol
