Your video reminds me of our neighborhood walks through Victoria. It was prolly our major source of entertainment (& exercise). I describe it as jaw dropping spectacular.
Note the Red Barn wrap they are eating was not bought near the beach 10 minute drive perhaps. They are excellent wrap. Note the number of people in the water
I am just taking a sneak peek before I travel to Victoria in September. The last couple of times I visited, I rented a scooter from BC Cycle. I enjoyed riding the scooter from Dallas Road along the ocean front to Oak Bay. Another fun thing to do with the scooter is to head to Cadboro Bay to a cafe called Moka. Thanks for sharing your journey.
I miss walking around there in the summer. Stupid winter.
The ocean here is not like the sea in Britain, it's MUCH colder! No, not because it's Canada or we're farther north, we are about level with the Channels Isles, but because there is no Gulf Stream here. There are a few secret warm spots but ir is generally 10C year round. By now . you've probably seen the really nice houses farher along that road in the Uplands. Just off Willows Beach on Estevan Village is a great Chippie!
Excellent video, once again, Emily! Victoria sure is picturesque. We usedto have a chain of fried chicken restaurants in Ontario called Red Barn, but not since the 1970s. I wonder if it's the same chain. Is chicken their specialty? Anyways, thanks again for the great video!

Red Barn was a very popular burger chain back in 50s and 60s. Then McDonald's arrived and bye bye Red Barn.
