Oh, the temptation.... I am a quilter, crosstitcher, crocheter...in lockdown, I purchased rubber stamping supplies, and watercolor supplies...now I am thinking "Oh, now I need paper craft making supplies!"... I love being creative.... and (oh, I also bought cornstarch and wooden handled cookie dough presses to make ornaments....) so anyways then I (oh, also wood slices and modpodge to make ornaments...and wooden beads to make wood bead tree ornaments....)...
Finally someone using what we all can get! I love your ideals. You make card making fun, feel like you can do it, and come out with something cute! Thank-you. It’s also the idea “we don’t have to spend a fortune”! And keep adding all these other things to send more money just to make a card!
You encourage me to try more, expand my borders of thinking, grow. Thank you. These are all just lovely.
I am an occasional card maker. Christmas and some b day cards. I have watched so many CZcams tutorials on all kinds of cards making, my head hurts! You are the first one who I felt really explained the process of building the card! Thank you! All these years later and it finally clicked after watching your video! I never, ever comment on any video! You are my first! I had to tell you how I felt! Thanks again!
Thank you for understanding that not all crafty people do it all year round and may not have an extensive collection of supplies. Loved your video!
Thanks so much! Glad it resonated with you!
watched again today with my 2 x 6 scraps and made19 cards...finished a paper pad!! thanks for the inspiration
I love you!!!! I just found you and what a blessing. You simplify card making . I’m demonstrating a card class at our library and I was worried about the ladies having problems doing them. You have helped me so much. They will only be stamping the verse inside. Thank you!!❤️
This is my first time watching and I really enjoyed it...its a craft that even a beginner like me can do...thank you
Lol!!! Hotdog fold🤩😂👍🥰!!! Love it!! 😇🌷
I also agree that using a higher quality base for your cards makes a big difference. That is what I do. I have the paper pad from Michael's. I love all the cards you have made. Thanks so much for sharing.
This has to be one of my favorite of all times paper pad. I must have purchased 3 or 4 of these and used your video to guide me. I want to order another just to keep and never use! I love the way you used this paper. Thanks so much.
So far my favorite card video on CZcams!
I have that same paper pack just the 12x12 version ☺️
What great ideas.. Loved all of this video as well as the tips, i.e. plastic bags for later. Thank you. Such great suggestions. Your eye for placement is really artistic. Loved them all.
This is a teaching video, how you can learn some wonderful ideas, but remember you can use this video to create your on designs. The cards are so pretty and this reflects personable touch of Jess crafts.
Wish we had a Michaels I was able to shop there when we were in Canada loved it
Can’t wait to make these tomorrow!!
Hi Jess, thanks for sharing these lovely card ideas. Shirley ( London UK)

I made so many things with this paper!
Just found your video, I would like to say how much I’ve enjoyed them
I always love your card layouts!

I like that you put the leftover pieces together. It makes it look like a wrapped gift. Thank you for your video.
Thanks for the inspiration. I love your idea of using one paper pad to make a stack of cards.
All the cards are wonderful, thank you.
Love the truck cards.
you amaze me. so cool to see and hear your process.
I do not have a lot of stamping or tools. I love your voice. I have done a lot of desktop publishing so I use my computer.
Amazing cards! Cannot pick a favourite. Very helpful too. Thank you for sharing your talents!
Thanks so much!
Looking forward to future videos! Love these

I purchased two of the 12x12 packs from Michaels and then saw your videos on card making from them. Thank you for the wonderful ideas!

Loved these cards! I have this paper pad in the 12x12..
The idea of designing and putting in a bag is brilliant!
Simple but very special!
Thank you! 😊
Enjoy your explanations as you create.

Loved this video and so glad I found it!
Loved all these neat ideas.
Dec 2021 🤗 your video popped up and since I’m on a matting kick as well as working thru my stash kick it caught my attention - lots of great ideas for year round cards as well as next Christmas 🤗🤗🤗 thnx for sharing
I could not pick a favorite. I love them all. Thanks for the inspiration.
Great job in taking that 6x6 pad and making such nice cards
Thanks so much!
Absolutely wonderful
What a great video. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful cards.
Great use of the tags using them for sentiments no need for stamping!
Very cool and looks easy to follow
Wow! I really like your video. You make it look so easy not intimidating at all.
Thank you! So glad to hear it was helpful!
I have the 12 by 12 of this pattern, I love the joy card the most. Thanks for the ideas!
I just ran out to Michael's after viewing this video. They didn't have the 6x6 so I got the 12x12. What size cards do you plan to use since the tags etc. are larger?
Happy to see use of Recollections, I shop at Michaels a good bit for paper, rather than ordering.
Glad it was helpful. I try to use a mix of available papers so that there is something for everyone. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing. You gave a lot of helpful information. And they were all nice cards
Hi Melissa, glad it was helpful! Happy crafting!
Thank you so much. I got soooo much out of your video. Can't wait to try it 🙂
I'm so glad!
I agree that using higher quality bases makes a big difference in how "quality" the card feels. The Sunny Studios sentiment stamp looks great, I might have to get that! And I like the paper pad you used. Glad to see Michaels still has it, and they sell it online :)
WOW - this is impressive. I love the way you layered all the pieces and kept the shapes simple. These cards are great! Thank you for sharing this with all of us.
I am a new subscriber to your channel. I have been wanting this paper pad. Watching your video has made me want it even more. Thank you for all of the wonderful tips! Each card is lovely, but my favorites are each of the ones with the cabin on them, and the one with the red truck.
Thanks for subscribing! It was a beautiful pad to work with. I hope you're able to pick it up and that you enjoy crafting with it!
I bought this pad ,thanks for the great ideals
Hope you enjoy crafting with it!
Great job !!
Loved this video!
Excellent video... Beautiful cards....ty
Thanks so much!
I have that paper pad and was looking at the tags wondering what to do with them. I love the idea of trimming off the top of some of them and just making a rectangular element. Wonderful idea!! And backing things in black really makes everything pop! Thank you so much for the inspiration!!
Tags always intimidate me, it was so liberating to just chop off the tops. I hope you enjoy crafting with the paper!
You cards and ideas are beautiful!!!
Thank you so much!
Enjoyed watching how you put all of the cards together, I enjoy making cards, but Christmas cards are my favorite.
Wow, very lovely.
Greetings from Cologne/ Germany
Thank you very much!
Beautiful cards. I love mat layers, they pull the design together👍🏻
Just found your channel. Couldn't hit the subscribe button fast enough. Love what you did. I am making almost 200 Christmas cards this year and just don't have the time or patience for using dies this year. This will be perfect. And I am going to start with me scraps first. Thank you so much for sharing. Take care, Debi.
Thank you so much! Glad to have you as a subscriber and hope you get more value out of my videos. Good luck with those Christmas cards!
Very nice, simple, quick cards for Christmas!
Love your layouts. Hadn’t thought if cutting tops off tags. Cards are beautiful. Thanks.
Love the matting on your cards! Really makes each component stand out beautifully!! Very nice job Jess!

Cute set of cards! My favorites had the little cabin scene. It looked so peaceful!
Adorable. And I have this paper pad. Perfect! I'm so excited!
These are very pretty cards! What a nice paper pad! I love your card layering designs.
LOVED this tutorial, your cards are beautiful!!! Love the little house at the bottom and the Joy card with the berries at the top left corner. They all beautiful!!!
Really loved this tutorial. Thanks for sharing! 😊
I love these ideas. Now I know what to do with a paper pack that has the tags! Thanks for sharing!
I’m so impressed with the result you achieve for evert card. Thanks for the inspiration.
Great ideas. Loved your use of designs and paper. Using scraps to create dimension fantastic 🤗
that is a great idea to mat and bag them I put them all in a sheet protector and it is hard to find the different ones without dumping it I think I will try this instead, put all the different sizes separate
I wanted you to know that I just finished making 48 cards from the 2 pads of this paper I bought last year. I completely copied everything in your video, blog measurements & photos. I've been making cards for over 10 years, but have always had a mental block with 6x6 paper. Its just not a logical size to my brain. And I had to waste paper. I'm afraid to cut into a sheet until I know what the plan is for the rest of it ahead of time. I watch everyone's 6x6 paper pad videos, and wonder why I can't do it. Yours was the first I've attempted and I was shocked to still learn so much. Mainly, that there is so much you can do with that 2" cut off strip. And that pieces on the card aren't as large as I thought they were, so yes, 2" scrap gives you plenty to work with. This was also my first time working with cut aparts. I never seem to find those in what I buy. Due to 2020 & some stuff in my life, it had been almost 2 years since I've touched my card making supplies, and I was so glad to finally be working with paper & trimmer again. And without having to design or really stamp anything, this was a great way to ease back into it. Thank you for your videos. I enjoy watching them all.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. I’m so glad I could be helpful in your journey back to cardmaking. I hope you continue to find the simple joy of putting together pretty paper. I appreciate you taking the time to watch my videos. Happy crafting!
These are adorable and so creative. I have TONS of pads of designed scrapbook paper similar to this, and now have an idea of something to do with them. Thank you!
Thank you for sharing this! I'm so new to making cards and this was so helpful! They all look so nice that I was able to get one of cardstock prints from Michaels. They came out so nice! Thank you again!
Hey Jess, I absolutely love this tutorial ❤ 😍 I am a senior card maker/paper crafter, with all the bells and whistles in duplicate/triplicate, and still purchasing, unfortunately. I love how you made it so easy for beginners or first timers, not to feel pressured to run out and buy everything in the store to produce quality, beautiful products. I learned some tips that I will be using on NOT collecting scraps (you know that I have seen crafters trim and make small paper pads and trade, donate or sell). I will be putting the 2 scraps together with the matted strip...Genius❣❣❣ So simple and I never really thought about that as an option. I rarely watch an entire video, but I didn't want to miss anything. Your voice is relaxing, kind, knowledgeable, and unintimidating. Great educator❣❣ First-time viewer, new subbie🙋🏾♀️👋🏾👐🏾
Hi Beverly! Your comment is so kind and means so much! I love hearing that my videos are helping others. I'm so happy to have you as a subbie!
so far I've avoided the pads with cut aparts - now I'll go look for them :) thank you for a very inspiring video!
Thanks for sharing
EXCELLENT!!
Great Job! It gave me lots of ideas and I have the same pad only the 12x12 size.
So glad it was helpful! Happy crafting!
I really enjoy watching your Christmas card videos! I always come away with great ideas. Thank you for explaining your thought process on ways to use all the elements, etc.
So glad you are enjoying them! Happy crafting!
Great job. Hope to see more of your paper pad tutorials.
I really enjoyed your video, great cards and tips!
Thank you!
Great ideas and really very nice cards! Loved them.
Thank you so much for sharing. Loved them all. Just ordered the sentiment stamp.
Thank you for your support!
Lovely set of cards - also love cutting off the top of the tags. Wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing this. 💕💕
Thanks so much!
I like how you use the pages with a picture or scene on them.. until I joined Stampin up! I was just a scrapbooked and always felt lost with those pages, sometimes there to pretty to cover.. great job, thanks for sharing
Thanks so much! Those can be so challenging but I love to give myself a challenge and really use up every bit.
Sometimes when I don't feel like stamping, coloring or die cutting, I do what you're doing here. I take a random 6x6 paper pad bought from Tuesday Morning and a stack of solid card stock and make a bunch of cards like you just did. Fun way to be creative without hurting my brain. LOL
Thank you for sharing. Great ideas
Love it you are a great inspiration
Thank you so much!
Thank you for sharing. Love all of your ideas. Just getting into making cards.
Thanks! It can be such a fun thing to do and you can really limit your supplies if you want to. Happy crafting!
Very beautiful! I think this looks so fun and inspires me to make cards.
So glad to hear that! Happy crafting!
