There is no doubt at the moment that Uncle Howdy is on his way back to WWE. Eric Rowan has reportedly signed with the company, Braun Strowman is back, and Alexa Bliss is due for a return. Dr. Chris Featherstone and Vince Russo are not certain that the creative team can handle his return the manner that it needs to be. Russo wonders if a Ministry of Darkness version of The Undertaker would be the right person to lead the stable. Featherstone pitches his own idea of Bray Wyatt communicating with his brother. Gear up for a very special edition of Writing with Russo, hosted by Dr. Chris Featherstone.

The whole point of Uncle Howdy was for Bray to tell a story his way, cutting out the WWE creative. & the only person he trusted with this story was his brother.
When I saw the title I had to click on this to possibly hear Vince say “Uncle Howdy, bro? Uncle Howdy? Cmon bro!”

I def like “The Lost” concept for the Wyatt family led by Taker, remember, he had whispered something in Brays ear some time ago.
Taylor Rotunda, aka Bo Dallas aka Uncle Howdy, was involved in the story with his brother since they started teasing the White Rabbit stuff and they were in touch even while Bray Wyatt was out. I'm sure he knows where Windham wanted to take the story, he's surely talked to HHH and whoever was co-writing the storyline and everyone in the faction is on the same page. In universe, they are a band of misfits brought together by the spirit of Bray Wyatt and by Uncle Howdy, there's an entire story arc there they can explore with vignettes. I think it'll be very interesting but they need to find a target right away, they need to start having matches right away and look dominant and they need a few rivalries
Not only tons of footage, but WWE could utilize AI to replicate Bray Wyatt's voice these days.

yep. i was thinking the same thing. those could be done through vignettes and maybe an appearance here and there and once he is full overcome, howdy debuts with the family. i mean, they could even do something with the fiend mask and somehow work Bo into putting it on or something like that and over time, just by putting it on once, he became possessed and is now taken over and becomes Uncle Howdy

Since HHH is in charge, I'm hoping things will turn out differently and maybe Bo will have a chance to show his skills while doing honor to his brother's character. Let's wait and see... i'm not going to pre judge when nothing happened yet.

H historically has not been good dealing with gimmick/characters. He's good at dealing with vanilla darlings.
I'm afraid that....even If it's good, smarks might go against it because they treat Wrestling like it's a real sport. But they ignore the fakeness of bad mic skills and gymnastics style wrestling.
After HHH tookover and pandering to hardcore audiences I've been hearing people say things like "We don't want gimmicks"
Let me answer this. "If you couldn't get this over with Bray then why do this"?
Simple Vince isnt there to F it up. HHH is a gen Xer. He would approach it from different angles, not to mention listening to the fans. So that alone gives him a way better chance to get the W now.

Joe Gacy as the fiend could work. Especially with that new costume because the whole body is covered.
The difference now is that Vince is no longer in control. With Mike and Taylor working this with HHH it will not tarnish Bray in any way
I think bringing the fiend back into it could be great. Bring Bo back as a dark version of himself... taking up Bray's mantle, to lead the fireflies and the Wyatt family... but things start to happen, lights out... etc. Then when they're doing something in the ring now... suddenly it blacks out and the fiend appears in a random place in the arena... stalking bo... getting into his head, and driving him crazy... then starting to interfere in their matches, attack bo and the family... have a whole mind games thing going back and forth between Bo/Howdy and The Fiend, silent, ever present, scary... Until finally it runs its course and you blow it off with Bo/The Fiend in Hell in a cell... finally revealing who is impersonating the fiend. I think it could be good, and actually sounds kinda like a Russo storyline to me lol.
I like this better than the Isle of misfit characters being rumored.

The narrative that fiend was a flop, is ridiculous. Yes he lost matches. He lost them but pushed his opponents to the dark side. That was him. He forced people and changed people with his encounters, bringing out the fiend in his opponents. All can hurt or heal.
Seth lost his mind.
Cena went dark for that Wrestlemania match.
Roman became a heel. The biggest.
Orton hears voices anyway.
The point of the fiend was holding a mirror to his opponents.

But bo dallas was a main eventer in nxt,he was the champ there,it's just vince that made him into a comedy act in the main roster,drew,jinder,miz,kofi and big e all comedy gimmick but became wwe champion,not even the world heavyweight champion but the main wwe champion so uncle howdy can be a main eventer in the main roster too,IT COULD WORK
If you can’t say the name as WWE Champion without cringing he probably has no chance. He’s better off rebranded as Bo Wyatt.

I’m not sure if the member roster supposedly leaked is true but I truly hope not. Keep it simple. Bo Wyatt, Rowan, Braun and dark Alexa.

The Fiend was advertised as Bray Wyatt The Fiend when he wrestled. It was the place where Bray's mind would go and become The Fiend. We all know that so having another Fiend wouldn't work.
Think of the fiend as something that can not die it's something that can transfer to another person
I'm sorry, but if WWE can get two members of 3MB over a couple years later with the WWE universe - I'm sure they can find a way with Bo Dallas. There are guys who were jobbers and perpetual mid-carders 10 years ago who are now main event players. WWE Creative may still get it wrong, but it won't be as bad as during the Vince Era misses were.

I think anybody could be the Fiend, because the Fiend was not a person, it was an entity using Bray's Body as a vessel. What if the Fiend was and entity hunting the family instead just Bray... we could say Bo was being hunted by it as well...

Show me a coroner's report, the 911 call log, paramedics csv, death certificate, hospital record of death, show me anything to prove he's dead, the thing is these things aren't hard to find if you know where to look and I do actually there pretty easy to find but u can't find a single thing. Trust me ever searched and searched. I've always felt since the day he died it was a work same day as Terry Funk? Strange. They need someone to take over the Deadman gimmick what better way then this. It's bray waytt cominivating through the computer screen he's trapped somewhere I belive they are going to go somewhere incredible with this angle and I just had a feeling since day one his death was possibly the greatest work in wrestling history

Im having reservations too. Its really just not the same without Bray. If Bo just came back id be fine but im not sure what this faction is gonna do even? Theres so many storylines as of now and...where the hell are they gonna fit 6 people and how are they gonna be used? Who are they gonna fight?

Why not just have them not be super natural. Why can't uncle howdy be like Charlie Manson. Make it to where he was in charge the whole time like a cult leader of sorts. And the 6 not be as much super natural but more crazy , and nuty like the devils rejects have them just destroy folks . And have them win a title any and not understand what it is and not respect it like most champs but kinda toss it aside due to they only want to hurt everyone because they were all hurt at one time there selfs 🤓
I always thought it was a mistake to go into the supernatural. You can see how VKM didn't want to get real scary and realistic with that act. Indeed they should always been more Manson/Devi's Rejects that crappy special effect work. In fact I always wanted Bray to just go out to the ring without any music.

if they keep dragging this on with QR codes, once the debut happens, no one will care. it will turn out like it did before. they need to strike when the interest is hot and if not, they will screw it up. for the sister abigail character, they could have his sister, Mike, in that role. she doesnt have to wrestle at all but can be in the vignettes and appear with his family etc

I mean obviously bray is behind the mask but I think they are talking about more from a Kayfabe story perspective bray Wyatt has almost always treated the fiend as a different entity from himself. The way I look at it is bray Wyatt was a vessel for the fiend so it makes sense that now the fiend has to find a new vessel

The reasons that so many of these story lines sucked is because Vince McMahon was always trying to put an occult symbolism twist on everything, but most ordinary fans don't understand the Deeper meanings or the agendas behind them .
Even if its good im afraid the hardcore audience might complain. Ever since H took over and started pandering to the smarks Ive been reading things against characters/gimmicks. They want plain wrestlers who just wrestle.
Vince McMahon is no longer around or holds creative authority to wreck the Bray Wyatt storyline. Creative nailed the Rock and Cody Rhodes storyline leading into Wrestlemania 40. I have faith in the post Vince McMahon era.😉👍🏻

During the pandemic era there were a few times they said "the fiend Bray Wyatt" , actually if I'm not wrong they referred to him just that way for the last few months before he was released from the company

There is NO WAY anybody else could be The Fiend. Sorry Vince. That's a hell of a bad idea. The reason being is that even though Bray wasn't revealed to be The Fiend, we all bought into the fact that it was one of his alter egos. We all knew it was Bray regardless. The story he built up swept us all up into that moment of Bray having this much more evil second persona. Now Windham Rotunda is no longer with us how can we have a new Fiend? It WILL NOT work. Bo Dallas was never shwn to be Uncle Howdy but again we all knew it would be, and now we are talking about Bo being Howdy again! My issue with Uncle Howdy was that he just didn't appear to be a force to be reckoned with like Bray/The Fiend was. Is height and look just seemed too comical.... BUT a new look might work better. They need to really really perfect this for it to work out. Do not rush, do not have him go for the title, just have him creep out the WWE for a while and attack people here and there. They could even continue the Firefly Fun House but with Bo as the new presenter. His charisma needs to be top notch though. It is a dangerous route to take because it's blurring the lines of reality and kayfabe with us all KNOWING that Bray Wyatt (Windham) isn't really here anymore.
Bo Dallas could EASILY do a character like Uncle Howdy in his sleep. He is great at character work and is good on the mic. In fact I wished he would have interacted with LA Knight given that Bray MADE with Knight and he was the last opponant that Bray faced. He could attack him with vengrance in his heart. He should have attacked Knight in his title match against Roman.

The Final Testament is not over. Kross is a terrible character. No one will care if the faction did that. The only way I could see this working is lettinf Gacy talk and focusing on Lumis. They're the only two that haven't been shown as losers in the main roster...
In my shortlist, I propose adding the following wrestlers: Gunther to the Wyatt Family; Drew McIntyre; CM Punk; Solo Sikoa alongside Jacob Fatu; OR Damien Priest. Additionally, Roman Reigns or Seth Rollins could be considered.
Among Gunther, Drew, and Punk, I envision a surprising turn to the dark side or perhaps one of them being abducted. For Solo and Jacob, I find the idea intriguing if the Bloodline were to disband and a new faction, the Wyatt Ministry Bloodline, were formed, with a focus on ruthlessness and sinister motives. This could spark an intense feud that seamlessly integrates into ongoing storylines.
As for Priest, a heel turn could be in store, perhaps leading to him either severing ties with Judgment Day or merging it with the Wyatts. Roman's absence from the screen could provide a compelling narrative for his return, with the idea of him returning as a sinister character rather than a heroic one, possibly motivated by his past association with Bray Wyatt. There could even be video segments featuring Bray and Roman from their previous collaboration, with Roman seeking an even greater power upon his return.
Similarly, Seth could return as a new leader, evolving his character in unexpected ways during his absence.
These developments could inject fresh energy into ongoing storylines and create intriguing new dynamics within the WWE universe.
