Don't nobody buy a ticket or turn the channel on the game to watch a coach, owner, or a bum ass ref yet they want all the attention and credit. Marc A They are screwed over. And what is the definition of bad? Because they can’t get to the conference finals, because they have never been able to remotely win a championship? This proves there screwed over, I remember on 2005 one of the players got ejected for laughing at a ref, similar towards Tim Duncan and Joe Crawford. And I’m not disagreeing with you, no one maybe doesn’t want to play there because they didn’t need anyone until Chris Paul went to the rockets, and now recently Blake got traded to the pistons. In the NBA this is what you call re-building. But like I said I’m not disagreeing or agreeing with anyone here all I’m saying is that they are *screwed* over. No matter what they do, the refs always have something to do, because the lakers are the main staple point of LA basketball. The clippers are another fill in the hole type of team. But it isn’t because no one wants to play there, it’s because that they share a same city with another famous basketball team, and are considered “just another copy” to complete the whole 30 nba teams format. Also, they throw out doc rivers as well for no reason, which shows the refs these season are too sensitive and need management change. I honestly think the clippers need a change. Maybe make them the *seattle supersonics* or something? So they can represent their own city and be able to start something of their own. Not saying this will happen, but it should. The NBA are in need of a lot of changes and the refs are just part of it. I just find the NBA to be silly when it comes to reffing games nowadays. “Oh you touched me let me eject you because I find it the wrong way.” And the funny thing is, usually ejections like this are considered as well, they go do the other refs and decide as whole, you can clearly see this doesn’t happen. And you can also see that the refs seem to mind themselves, they do ejections without using their brain. It’s kind of the like “think before you speak” but sorry for this whole chatter, but I’m not a clippers fan, of a lakers fan, I’ve been a Boston Celtics fan my whole life, but I don’t want you to think Im sucking off the clippers.

    • @totalminergamer123
      @totalminergamer123 Před 6 lety

      ChokeCity And to reply to you, there in a re-build mode and having two centers who do the same thing is a bad area to start out with. *cough* the pelicans with Davis and cousins, and no I’m not saying there bad but their record isn’t all that great. They need a center, and a good guard. That’s what the clippers are doing, the trade was a win for them. Not only do they get a future all-star, they get to maybe future all stars or future good nba players, which does include a first round pick and a second round pick. And with this trade they also cleared a lot of space, so they can easily land a few big time free agents. If really helps them now with this trade, and I suspect them to get better by next season after free agency.

    Title is misleading, yes.... Rivers still did shove the official, you can tell by his body language after the play he was upset with the no-call, and the extension of his elbow- he saw who it was, they know where the officials should be on certain plays. Rules are rules (why can't a normal human understand this?!), we can't have million-dollar role models be savages and animals all the time, then justify it by flipping and mouthing off the officials, and simply say 'Oh that's a garbage call!' and such. What has the NBA become....... such disrespect by this generation. Did the greats of the game ever stoop this low to literally argue over calls on the court?... Not really. Fights almost every game, disrespecting officials... ah, lets just pay them more $$... sadness. You cannot touch an official! End of story.

    Look at his arm. He swing it on purpose because the ref didn’t call foul on that play. You shouldn’t do that on the professional level.

    This is another instance of FIXING GAMES. You know what's even worse this happens in every game in every league. The ref was most likely gambling or betting something on the rockets and he was like "you know what will win me this 20$, if I throw out the head coach and starting point guard

    Instead of “player” maybe u cud say Austin Rivers’ name and give him a little respect. He’s a a good player and that title can be very disrespectful. He deserves more respect and he’s a good player that receives too much hate from the media for being the son of Doc Rivers. This seems like a very small and unimportant problem but it still is kinda disrespectful whether it was intentional or not.

    The way I see it Rivers pushed ref on the chest, now he probably did that cause he got mad he missed the shot but was like spining I don't know if he really wanted to do that. But ref probably tought he pushed cause he wanted a foul and didn't get one...
