(639) FLOP (not flip) CUP ~ Fluid art technique inspired by @B.R.Turner. ART ~ Fluid artist

- I came accross @B.R.Turner. ART channel on youtube and really like his style. I decided to give this Flop cup acrylic pouring technique a try. Off course it turned out much harder, than it looks, but we all know, that this is the same with all fluid art techniqes, that we try for the first time. I like some effects, but definitely need more practice and less paint. :)
Technique: Flop cup
Colours:
- Amsterdam azo yellow light
- Amsterdam azo orange
- Amsterdam carmine
- Amsterdam permanent blue violet
- Amsterdam phthalo blue
- Amsterdam turquoise green
All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.

Oh Fiona! It may be harder than it looks but man oh man does it look cool! I love a lot of color so this moves me to try. I think I may put an undercoat of paint on the canvas and just a very small pillow to start with. So glad you posted this. Thank you!

I love the colors, and I love the swirls! I sometimes tilt my canvas up, and kind of loft the paint downwards, I don’t think I have done videos doing that though, but I will have to make one. It’s lots of fun, and that’s what matters. I LOVE your channel, thanks for sharing🥰🙏🏻❣️

It looks great! B.R. Turner is amazing and unique. He uses a lot of paint and tilts off very little. I don't know what he does not to get cracks, etc., But whatever it is it works out for him. I've also noticed that he might tilt a painting, even a big one, for maybe three or four seconds. He produces gorgeous pieces of art in three, four minutes total.
