As a student a food voucher from Shoprite/pick n pay would be really helpful for when I go back to res at the beginning of the year. My bursary only pays out in March but school starts in February so it's a struggle having groceries before receiving an allowance

It's been a good 21 years of not celebrating Christmas as my mom passed away on that day when I was 8 years old and Christmas was never the same until last 😏
This year I made a decision that I'm letting go and start creating memories for my kids as I really felt like I've deprived them the celebration for far too long. Winning this photoshoot will definitely be a cherry on top in creating memories with my lil angels 😘🤞

Since we are giving a little I would love to bring back a little smile and laughter to my older sister who raised me to be who I am today. She has been struggling with postpartum anxiety especially after her new born baby and these are some of the mental health issues that women face especially after pregnancy that are normally not paid attention to. As this year was not really easy for me at the university, you know the struggle of not getting your allowance and my parents had to come through for me so that I have food. It was a really big break for me I do not wanna lie. especially because i knew how was the situation at home. But they made it possible for me and i managed to pull through. I would really use the Checkers food voucher just to appreciate them.
