I am writing an assignment about the concept of "social imagination," and honestly, your video is really helpful. Thanks for posting this video, and please upload more videos that discuss sociology concepts.
I really wish I had you instead as a professor Dr. Marshall! You put everything so eloquently and accessibly. Thank you so much for the helpful videos!
Wow! This is an excellent presentation. The topics are explained well with just enough, and not distracting, graphics. Your speaking voice is enjoyable, clearly enunciating and professional. I would enjoy taking a class by you based on this video. For any other profs out there looking for videos to link to - this is a good one. I noticed this after watching a video required for the Sociology class I am taking.
Free thought and free choice. It's reality. Regardless of the choice, it's free choice, to me. To the topic of being unbiased, because it's those shoes that are on and being used. Just like an algorithm spreads, socially a decision spreads for me or the individual. It's the judgement that stops the learning before the problem evolves to be solved. I thank you for teaching me this. Now look at problem being so complex that it takes every aspect of game theory. All formulas to solve. As an individual, you get trapped in this game not having a theory or formula for problem solving thus chaos sets in and danger or depression result from lack of probability. It's at that moment that you have no answers. Life becomes empty and no fun. Combine that with others taking your probabilities away on purpose and then you get close to true individual reality. It's doesn't appear to be altruistic does it?
Mills's work wasn't designed to transfer blame for personal problems to the greater society. "This does not excuse the individual" - yet this lecture implies that it does.
please add more slides, and please be more general as the problems in the world in general are not the same as those in America. Examples such as unemployment

The Sociological Imagination is were I had problems, but I'm ok with the explanation.

Thank you, my lecturer has no structure in the sociology unit I'm doing.
thank you so much! also, i'm not sure if this makes sense, but your voice matches the font of the text.
That's actually right..
I feel exactly the same way. I thought it was just me.
What you're all experiencing is something called association. You associate the font with this lecturer or someone she reminds you of.
Thank you.
Microphone nearly killed me but thanks cleared a few things up :)
