UNTIL NEXT TIME, Byee 💛 - Hudba
The Gibbs genes are strong. Losing that guy so young was such a tragedy.
Hence the next bee gees hit TRAGEDY!
You are a liar
He was just 19 years old here. This was the first of three straight #1 hits at the start of his career, all written and produced primarily by brother Barry.
The twins were only 17 when they had their first number one.
@@susieq9801 Yes, the twins were 17 when "Massachusetts" was released in August of 1967 in the UK. They had turned 18 (in December, '67) by the time it finally hit #1 in the UK in early 1968.
The Gibb brothers were born talented. It’s such a sad thing he died like 2 days after turning 30
I was introduced to Andy by my older cousin way back in 1977. She was a huge fan of the Bee Gees & when Andy dropped this song, she immediately ran out to the music store & bought the single record. She had me come over to listen to it. She played it over & over & over for what seemed like hours until I had all the lyrics memorized. Shortly after that day, I went to the music store with my weekly allowance money & bought my own copy of the record. I was 10 years old at the time & still remember every word of this song because it has been burned into my long term memory - LOL. When I'm an old lady & can't remember most things, I know I will still be able to sing this song until I take my last breath. As much as I loved the Bee Gees, Andy was my favorite & my first pop artist crush. I had a 2 or 3 T-shirts with his photo on it, full size posters & magazine pictures of him all over my bedroom walls. It still makes me tear up when I think back to the day when he died & it was all over the news... Just imagine all the great music he could have made over the years. Barry is the last Gibb brother alive & must be protected at all costs! RIP Andy, Mo, & Robin...
Andy was my boy, so sad when he died. Gibb Bros were/are flipping awesome songwriters and singers/producers
The bass guitarist sounded like he was holding back. He wanted to go crazy with that bass. Also that bass guy did great singing falsetto in unison with Andy.
My mom , sister and I cried like a baby when Andy passed away. Such a talent gone way too soon. Rip Andy
Andy was clearly meant to be a star. Having the Bee Gees as brothers was an added bonus. It's a shame what drugs can do to a person. Bless his sensitive Pisces soul. ❤
Andy was the youngest brother of the Bee Gee's! Maurice Barry and Robin Gibb!
He has a smooth vocal. It fits with that mild disco flavor! Nice song. Great reaction Mia!❤
Smooth For Sure , Love The Feedback . Thank You Mike ♡
I had the biggest crush on Andy in the 70’s and was devastated in ‘88 when he died so young. 😢
Yes another great Reaction by miaa Thank You
Barry says that him and Andy were as much twins as the twins were. Down to the same birthmark.
I thought that was so amazing when he said that in the interview I watched.
Barry and Robin also said Maurice would just lay down on stage and go to sleep sometimes. They asked Robin what did you guys do and in pure Robin fashion he said well we started covering him up. I sure wish they could have been the four BeeGees.
@@kathieovercash8414 Me too!!!! Andy had so much talent and potential. I wish he could see what everyone else saw! He wasn’t just riding on his brothers’s success!
I was in 8th grade the first time I'd heard of him and when I saw him on TV it was love at first sight. You should listen to Barry singing Words in the early 70's and then watch Andy singing it live at Reagan's Inauguration Dinner. He had started a beard and was wearing a tuxedo and talk about a performance. I had to look twice to make sure it was Andy. He looked and sounded so much like Barry.
Andy was a host on the show Solid Gold and he performed in each show and did some duets with his good friend Olivia Newton John, Marie Osmond, Abba, Irene Cara, Marilyn McCoo, his girlfriend Victoria Principle. Some of his greats are,
(Our Love)Don't Throw It All Away.
Desire.
Love Is Thicker Than Water.
Everlasting Love.
Time Is Time.
Shadow Dancing.
So very many more.
That is a fabulous idea!!! Andy sure looked like Barry there!!! He looked fantastic and so sexy there!
I get emotional when i see Andy Gibb because my late Uncle Darren looked so much like Andy. Its kinda crazy. Ugh. May they both be resting in peace.
Thank you for treating Andy and his voice and music with respect (not many do).
His brother Barry said that he had the best voice out of all of them.
Andrew Roy Gibb, born Manchester, England (5 March 1958 - 10 March 1988) was an English singer-songwriter and actor. He was the younger brother of Barry, Robin, and Maurice Gibb, musicians who had formed the Bee Gees during the mid-1960s.
The Bee Gees helped Write Andy's songs and The Bee Gees sang Backing Vocals on the Studio version of the Songs
All four brothers did a live performance of 'You Should be Dancing ' 1976. A must see. Loved your reaction ❤
That was a great performance but think it was 1979 during the Spirits Tour!🎼
@@kthor Yes, you're right. I realize I have been watching a video of their 1976 performance that has been stitched with clips of the concert with Andy.
@@carolb1104 You know what? I believe that clip says 1976 in the title, when it's actually 1979. Some of us let them know but they may not have changed it yet!😁
You've done it again Mia another great reaction that's why I love vibing with you and the Mee Gee family oh yea the chair dancing queen
Lol Thank You Jason , Always So Sweet ♡
❤ May,I have this Dance"❤
(Class of 71)
Nothing like staying up late late for The Midnight Special.....
andy gibb desire
Barry Gibb and Michael Jackson
All In Your Name.
He's consider the 4th Bee Gee brother. But he was pretty much of a solo singer. But his 3 brothers wrote all his songs and sang back up to Andy
I wish I was there to witness it too
I'm a lot older than you so I remember the Bee Gees and Andy Gibb when they were in their Prime and they all had talent and it didn't hurt and give that he was also super cute besides having a great voice he was hot also. Rest in peace
Andy was a real sweetheart of a young man. Sincere and always wanting to do the right thing. He wore his heart on his sleeve. The only problem is that he was tremendously insecure. He always felt like he didn't quite measure up to the success of his elder brothers. Andy didn't realize how tremendously talented he was in his own right. This was Andy's first international hit. I was in High School when this song dropped, and Andy became one of the biggest heartthrobs in the world. You can only imagine how many girls' walls his posters were plastered on during that time period when he first rose to international fame, and yes...Andy was that popular.
I think that his older brothers were planning on to add Andy as the "4th Bee Gee" before his sad sudden death in 1988 at 30. Andy had joined his brothers onstage live in concert.
Great talent. He wanted to stay but.. life has more plot twists than fiction. Great to hear again but sadness looms over it.
So talented a sad early death in life. Miss you andy
Andy Gibb was amazing! Love this song! I know one thing Andy,Robin and Maurice are making beautiful music in Heaven….RIP ❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻
Love your reaction and paying Respect to Andy from the bottom of your heart ❤️🙏🏻💃🏾🪩💯
Just like the Righteous Brothers sang, Heaven has a hell of a band!!! Rock n roll heaven!!!
Check out some of Bee Gees 80's 90's era music "You win again" "Bodyguard" "One" "For whom the bell tolls" "Kiss of life" "Alone" "Closer than close"
Omg I loved Andy Gibb too he was so cute and handsome. Can you react to two song.....Desire and After Dark
My first major crush and first heartbreak. Andy was so special ❤
Check out Andy performing Starlight, a song he wrote, on Don Kirschner's Rock Concert...such an amazing talent❤
Great taste in music young lady! You are awesome and beautiful yourself ! God Bless
Love your reactions. More BeeGees please! ❤❤❤
Barry often called, his youngest brother, Andy as his younger identical twin.
In a lot of photos he actually looks like Barry and Robin had a baby.
Found love at the end it was return Andy she loved you so much . I hope you two will be unlighted in heaven God is love a sure he knows it when he sees it🙏🙏 in peace ❤️
Loved it since day one and the extended remix as well. He wrote this for his lady at the time actress Victoria Principal ( Dallas) tv show fame.
Another great one from The Midnight Special! Andy sounded like his brothers but also sounded different if that makes any sense. I also loved the band , they were on point as you said .I think the next themed week should be Rock week, but whatever you do will be golden!!! Thank you for another wonderful reaction!!! 🙂
That makes sense! He sounded like Barry yet had his own sound! There’s a couple of videos with Andy and Barry singing together! It’s amazing!!!
@@tinakeith5822Yes even though he had his own sound , I can imagine him fitting into the Bee Gees effortlessly! Glad I'm making sense Lol .
Girl, you reacted the way all of us girls did back then! Just so talented like his big brothers - could do a good falsetto like his big brothers and was so friggin' cute. In all of the teen magazines - we loved him and were so shocked and saddened by his sudden death related to drugs. He could've done so much more. Continue to RIP Andy! Great reaction!
If Mia was alive back then, I know Andy would be knocking at her door to serenade her and Woo her and Mia would melt and say "Hey babe, let's get together!" LOL Who wouldn't want to woo a beautiful girl like Mia?
It was so sad for the other 3 when Andy passed ,thanks
Great reaction! Absolutely love this song! Taken too soon from us #RIP Andy
❤❤❤ love Andy Gibb!😊
Barry said that Andy was his twin separated by 12 years.
I was 17 when Andy hit the scene. Love at first sight and first note! First concert I ever went to was Andy Gibb in Long Beach, California!
Try Desire.❤😊
"Love is thicker than water" another great song by Andy. I actually saw Andy Gibb in concert one time as a kid in Charlotte, NC.
I love the Bee Gees and I especially love Andy. ❤
Hi Mia, have you checked out the song "King of spain" by moxy fruvous. They are a Canadian
Satirical band, and this song is a classic in Canada. This song is nothing like you've ever heard, telling a funny song, similar to Johnny cashes song " a boy named sue".
You won't be disappointed!!!
What a fun time to grow up back then. I remember this being on the radio all the time. You have loved living in those days I miss them now more than ever before.
He was one of my first crushes as a kid. I loved him!
Ok sis you have to listen to
I Can’t Help he sings it with Olivia Newton-John
And then listen to Olivia Newton-John No Other Love!
I literally can not! Took over my soul!
Love your reactions always Miaaa... your one of a kind.... your smiles and gestures .... comments etc... thanks for being special and sharing these reactions ,,, putting smiles on our faces !!!!!
👏👌👌
You are beautiful ❤
Thank You Derek 🙂
He killed himself
He felt unloved
He felt he had to compete
Also an older weman left him
She played on the soap opera Dallas
She was much older
He lost control
He was in his way to a comeback
Wow 🥹💔
Andy Gibb had Incredible talent - but he also had a lot of personal demons that killed him in the end. It was a great loss.
