He came to Juventus the following season 1996-1997, he was the leading scorer for Juventus in their 1996-1997 ECL campaign, and he even provided the assist to Del Piero in the final against Dortmund, but as we all know, Dortmund won the game 3:1 and they became the European champions.

That Milan side could have thrashed Marseille if they were a bit lucky. Marseille scored from one of only two clear chances they had in the entire game. Van Basten and Rijkaard were awesome in that match. It was also Van Basten's last official match at the age of 27 before retiring from football
