It's great how the team talks english just so one guy can stream, and all of them can communicate perfectly just as if the were talking their native language.
Makes me feel bad i only speak one language. Native English speakers are pretty lucky

It’s more like 3/4 of the team streaming. Kellar and Gluttony do too. And it makes sense to talk English, since the major percentage of the community that follows AOE II do not speak Norwegian.
In Norway we do start learning English early, though. These days I think our school kids start learning a few words already in their first year at school, at age 6, so while people learn differently and have different skills, we are arguably still bilingual by the time we finish school.

Not to be rude or anything, but being unable to speak English fluently, or to a certain degree will hinder you severely, seeing how almost everything happens online now. It’s more to be expected that they can communicate in english, especially since they’re European. Nonetheless it is great that they talk english here

why he didnt make barracks in first game for infantry to counter knight and siege rams vs blue player i am newbie, please someone explain.
So expensive to transition and he didn't have the economy for it. The way the game should work is his pocket makes knights and camels so the knights aren't an issue and the archers fire from behind.
Problem is Cong was his pocket and Cong isn't a pro, he's just an average player (rated 1700ish, whereas everyone else is 2k minimum) so viper was effectively 2v1.
@@thescottishtraveller Yeah, but they knew that the obsidian archer approach wouldn't work from the beginning because the other team picked Goths, but they went for it any ways and got wrecked by the Goths. Should have just went straight for the barracks and went Halbs/Eagles from the start, I don't get why they went with their original plan.

Two options when facing huskarls, without even switching to another unit: 1) build archery ranges on the other side of the map and help that side. The walking time of a single villager is negligible. Or 2) build walls around your archers. Mayan team bonus is 50% cheaper walls. Not starting spearmen production when you saw the knights was also stupid. Against 2+2 knights, crossbowman does 1.5 dps; spearman with zero upgrades does 4.6 dps.
If you had three villagers with your crossbowmen after you killed the siege workshop, you could have built walls when you saw the knights.
After your wall was petarded and the knights ran in, you should immediately have sent villagers to rebuild the wall, going around the knights. You really need to learn to take advantage of walls when facing 100% melee compositions.
Could also have trained a plumed archer or even eagle warrior to scout, instead of trying to get ally to do so. As they (Sun Tzu) say, if you know yourself but not your enemy, you only have a 50% chance of winning.

He's not bad, he probably would beat everyone in this comment section easily.
You're just used to watching the best players in the world play day in and day out, of course lower rated players seem slower by comparison.
Also, playing at 2fps isn't really competitive.
