FEU won our hearts with their relatable choreo and entertaining routine
NU blew our minds with their impressive technique and insane difficulty..
One of those seasons where the top 1 and top 2 really deserve to be on the top.. And where whoever takes the top spot will be okay for us..
Though i personally root NU hehe 😁😁
Jei Gabriel yun ang maganda yung tipong mahirapan ang judges sa pag score. Sana dumating ang time lahat ng school sa UAAP ay skilled same as NU. Yung close ang scores ng bawat universities.

Nu's edge against FEU is creativity and difficulty of the cheerleading elements and also they introduce new techniques
Indeed. Although I always root for NU, I told myself that if FEU wins, that's totally OKKKKAAAAAAY! My goodness.
That is why we love Cheerdance more compare to cheerleading. The space is bigger, the performance is longer and most of all there is a theme.

Cheerdance is a combination of cheerleading and dance. But here in the Philippines as a matter of fact Filipinos like to invent transitions in pyramids and tosses
Benjie Mendoza to invent uhhh i dont think so wag naman natin i grab yung credits sa mga unang gumawa ng mga stunts kasi kumukuha sila sa mga international cheerleading groups like sa topgun etc.....not a fan or hater of NU ....

Generic na ang mga stunts and pyramids the thing here now is how you do it in different way. From mounts to dismounts to transitions. He is not discrediting. And did he even said specifically "NU"? Nah bat nasali sila sa usapan?

@@vilma2971 yeah sa tosses talaga dmo na mababago un. Ganun at ganun lng tlga yun. Execution at technique nlng mgkakatalo sa tosses.

Her reaction to FEU Cheering Squad’s performance was the most natural and heart felt reaction I have seen in this video. Everyone can and will relate to FEU’s theme. Choreography was insane and it made our childhood memories come to life! FEU was my favorite.

28:37 There goes my favorite part!😎 I'm from FEU though but right now, everybody got RESPECT for NU im recent years for the level of difficulty and crisp synchronicity. Cheerdance is a big thing in the Philippines specially when we have a stock of street dancers(mostly have raw stunt skills) and trained gymnasts in the country that see this as a way to get college scholarships.

Im a fan of UST Salinggawi Dance troupe and I just wanna share that this performance of NU is the best, even compared to their performance last year!! As you can see, the whole arena is screaming to their performance. And I just wanna share that this year's cheerdance competition where the top 2 deserves to be on top like what happened on 2015 where the top 3 deserves a tie-breaking performance.
They were all so amazing for sure! And I loved Salinggawi's performance. So beautiful!

Did you see how other universities also cheer for NU? Well u might not notice the 3rd costume change of NU cause there are lot of things happening. The 3rd costume change was the sarimanok theme and the most difficult segment of their routine. From toe touch catch to double rewind pyramid and the last pyramid which was the front tuck was the hardest. Their coach said that they considered to make a last minute adjustment cause it was too complicated. But they trusted their instincs and trusted the kids and they did it very well. Really it was so amazing and i dont know how the would surpass that performance next year. 👏👏👏💪🙌

When you said why people don't know anything about cheerdance. I felt that. As a former cheerleader, watching the UAAP is one of my favorite event of the year.
I'm glad I was introduced to it about a year ago and then got to react to it this year. It's a sport that for sure needs more attention and recognition
More like we have to thank you instead for appreciating our love for cheerdance. You see, there's more cheerdance competitions in the Philippines but this one is the biggest and so far the only cheerdance competition being aired on one of the biggest television networks. I hope cheerdance could also be a thing in other countries where cheerdancers could also showcase the beauty of their culture and ideas. Thank you so much for this and may your channel be as big as it deserve. 😍

Thank you for appreciating the artistry of the UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe. Their theme is ENCHANTED hence the lyrical tempo and beautiful props, costume, and hairstyle. If not for the few errors, they could have landed in the podium.

Stunts done in cheerleading in US are superb , the difference can be seen thru infused culture thats what cheerdance in Ph is different.
Yeah, it's crazy how it's the same sport as "cheer" but they are so different and unique!!

Wow! How would American teams fare again these Filipino teams? These Filipino cheer/dance teams are exceptional and outstanding. Perfect in every way.
Now that would be instead to see!! They need to make an international level 7 team and bring it to Worlds here in America!!!!!!! Not "cheer dance" but I bet they would KILL IT!!!!
I'd say Filipino cheerleaders' Pyramids are monstrous. Probably the hardest in the world. But stunts and tumblings still has a long way to go. No cheer competition in the Philippines is done on a spring mat. And a female cheerleader doing full twisting tumblings are rare except for NU.
@@terrific1290 yep alot of girls from NU can do full twistings, NU will be participating in Worlds this 2020
NU (Coed) and UST (All-Girls) competes at Level 5 in the ICU Worlds (USA-based) while UP Competes Senior level (Coed and All-Girls) at IFC Worlds (Japan-based).

@@DanaCBurkey yass they did it last 2017. The scorpion dismount this 2019 is the thing they also did last 2015. I'm also waiting for the comeback of the bow and arrow dismount Hahaha. It was like holding a bow and arrow then a 360 degrees (not sure) dismount.

justin dela cruz I don’t have any plans to at the moment since it’s the middle of the cheer season and I have a LOT to react to for that. I also don’t usually go back and watch older routines, but if there is a time in the future when I can then who knows. But again, no official plans yet
