The vulnerable 19 year old with learning difficulties vanished in December 1999 but it did not become apparent she was missing until October 2016. Edward Cairney, 77, and Avril Jones, 59,
her supposed carers, were arrested a year later and in July 2019 were convicted of her murder Jones then continued to claim £182,000 in benefits until it finally emerged Margaret was missing in October 2016.

Thanks for sharing this. Nice clear video as always. The house had nice lines years ago, and what stupendous views. In your video it has a malevolent feel, and rotting away with all the deterioration and black mould. Glad it has been demolished (January 2020 news item) and is to be replaced with two new approved buildings.
It seems perhaps that the greed for extra benefits became the eventual undoing of the evil Cairney and Jones. How sad for young Margaret Fleming that nobody had seemingly been more in contact for some time. She was just forgotten which allowed this crime to be undiscovered for so long.

Hope cairney and Jones have a very difficult and very hard time in jail everyday.

BBC documentary detailed the background,eventual trial and sentencing of these murderers. Just so sad that it took so long for justice to be served. Poor Margaret had clearly been murdered many years ago.🏴🇬🇧

Only just watched the documentary and court case on these killers the other day. The house is in some state man. I’m surprised it’s no off limits to get into

That almost looks like a type of trap door in that one area..wonder if the police ever noticed it..totally would be worth taking a crowbar too to try and pry it open and see whats beneath. Awesome explore! And such a sad story.
I wonder if some of what we see is vandalism. These killers could not have lived like this.
They did live in it as a pig sty.... in the full documentary, the room was filthy, and the doors/window broken, at the time of the police investigation..... and then of course i guess, because they lied and said that she was still living there (and had only left half an hour before the police arrived) ... forensics probably added to the chaos. Sad story, bless her
The place has deteriorated quickly in 3 to 4 years a lot of places are like this after 30 plus years of being abandoned. I got chills all round that place it's horrible. Beautiful views though!

Well I'm from the U.S.A. and iver here they would have either got life with no parole or the Death Sentence
I’m from Aberdeen Scotland, there is no need for a death penalty because we believe that you have no right to choose whether someone lives or dies EVEN if they kill someone. Also could you please kinda explain the need of guns to me cause over here guns are completely illegal even if u have a license
IMO I think if you take a life then yours should be takened too! ESPECIALLY children, disabled, elderly 😔

ASG66 explain why 20% of people on death row are falsely accused. Seriously innocent people get killed for no reason and the criminals get away with no form of punishment for their crime. The justice system in America is really corrupt, you can just hand over a bunch of money to the judge and then they are free to go while someone else faces the consequences

Building 2 new houses on tht property would hve to get blessed...as bad spirits will still be there lingering around on tht land ...

Bet this was a lovely house in its former glory, so terrible when greed and evil takes over, so sad that poor Margaret had to endure living, being tortured and locked up and starved and probably beaten in these abhorrent conditions, hope 🙏 1 day her family and friends get closure on what happened to her and where she is, so they can lay her to rest in peace. Well, they didn't spend anything on decorating or upkeep did they? All that money they got for her after she was dead. It must have been in,an awful state when they were arrested, even if it,s been vandalized you can tell it was rotten before.
What a mess, it must have been In poor condition whilst they were still living there. Evil people what happened to the money they scammed, certainly was spent here.
9:34-9:35 an orb flys to the ground where the trees are, can't shake the feeling her remains are under a little tree🌲 by the water. Also the shoes at the window in this room are so weird, it kinda reminds me of a anti spell to keep witches ghosts out. But the whole room makes no sense, what was it purpose? Kinda looks like trophy room.
I like documentaries like this, but I can never understand why youths find it impressive to tear the place up? Surely it’s much more of a mystery if it has been left as it was???

Anyone else notice the fresh tulips in a packaged wrap at 6:49 ? (By the broken down wall/door to the outside) Someone was there recently and left those. There’s no way flowers like that would have lasted that long without dying.

I was gonna say the same thing! It's very likely they'll both die in prison. But no prison sentence can compare to the guilt and hauntings Margaret will put them through.

What I got from that house was the feeling of being locked up , left for days, beaten , and fear :(
Creepy. I watched a documentary about the carers. I think the young murdered lady is scattered in the back garden. They found lots of bone fragments too small to be sure. Murdered for the sake of years of free disability benefit claims. Glad they got the killers. Watching the guy squirming in court as they passed sentence was priceless.

In my town in grantown on spey there this abandoned house. A ferm bought it and gonna do it up for rent. But a childs skeleton was found in the chimney along with a growing human skull in the attic. They wasent aloud to work there cause its a grave now.

her body was never found. it looks like no attempt had ever been made to dig up the grounds around the house,which ordinarily would be the most logical thing to do. does anyone know why police never dug up the grounds? also,had the lake or whatever behind the house ever been gone over with sonar or whatever technology is used to search underwater? i suppose it's possible they disposed of her in the water and fish consumed the body,but police could have searched for skeletal remains.
The grounds were dug up but they didn’t find anything. The guy was a diver so I think most likely she’ll be at the bottom of the sea.
