When people are living 1 bad day away from having their lights shut off, their kids starving, they do desperate things. Drug dealers get a lot of heat from the public, but most didn't start out with bad intentions. They just didn't want to see their families crumble and were out of other options. 50 Cent is one of the high profile glimpses into that life. He was one of the lucky ones that survived. He got hit by a rival who was trying to make a statement, survived, and I have no doubt he had a hand in the payback that came later.
