Pineapple Party Punch - Like Grandma Used to Make
This is a recipe I found in my wife’s Grandma’s recipe box.
If you think your punch bowl is big, it’s not. Ha. Mine was filled to the very edge, and, and I forgot to add the 48 oz of sparkling water. That would have just flooded my island.
This is a lot of liquid, and would last quite a while. The punch bowl was the biggest of anything I had.
This punch is very fun to drink, and tastes surprising good, even without the sparkling water. You have the liquid factor and the chew factor. I don’t think I could taste the lemon juice, but it was all good to me.
If I can get a larger bowl or a big pot, I’ll make it again for some family get togethers.
Also, if anyone has experience with a GoPro 8. I have a dickens of a time getting it set up for the close up side shots, and doesn’t look anywhere clear as my overheard camera. And the colors just aren’t all that great either. If you have any suggestions I can try, leave a comment and I will try them to see if I can make the video cleaner.

This video is a tribute to all Grandmas out there. I recently have gotten ahold of 50 to 100, at least, year old recipes that my Grandma used to prepare for us when we was growing up. My wife also presented me with her Grandma’s / Grandma’s box collection of handwritten recipes, a lot of them without titles. So, making many of these cooking videos will be a surprise even to me.
I follow the recipes exactly with no substitutions on ingredients.
Grandmother recipes are the ones you can always relate to. You can eat something and you might say “Like Grandma Used to Make”.
The recipes I have, are from original cookbooks, newspaper cutouts, or good ol’ handwritten recipes.
