+07wmtc Oh my brother. I feel you 100%, i lived almost the same. Just with the difference that in our "relation" i wasted a lot of time and fell into a depressive state after breaking up. But after that she become like an inspiration to recover my life. So im very greatful with this person and will always have her in my heart. Sometimes i still talk to her and realize (seeing her situation with her husband) that she just is not a good partner to be as a couple. she just cant help it. But as a friend she is beautiful and a very inspiring person. You have to find her my man, internet nowadays is a great tool for that , its all im saying. (and sorry for my bad, bad english)

October 2022: I saw this classic a few nights ago on Peacock. I teared up several times AGAIN, just like I did the first time I watched it. I'm 54 now. I had forgotten just how wonderful the movie was, a true gem! Two great scenes for me: one being where they are at the state line and one the other when they pass each other in the hall, glancing at each other... and both of them looking back, too. Awesomeness!! 😃🥰🥰🥰🥰
This song plus many others from new radicals inspire me to keep putting my best foot forward when I feel like life sucks for me personally but I can always find a song that helps just like going to church every Sunday growing up so y'all come back with whatever comments you feel speak your minds don't hide it lol

I always get this song mixed with "You got the music in you" in my head and I had to listen again to fix it but my brain STILL expects to hear the chorus of the other song lol
I cannot get enough of this song. Watching the scenes and listening to this song to me is amazing. I too shed the water when watching this movie to the point it hurts. I have seen the movie at least three times and want to again, only if I could stop the crying. It made only around $50 million and the critics did not like the movie. I have not understood why on both accounts. I did not know about it till a friend's teenage daughter told me about the movie and let me use the VHS, at the time not long after the movie had played.
I'm not one for "mushy" flicks but this one really hit the spot! Wonderful screenplay and acting... New Radicals are by far the greatest and til this day Gregg Alexander continues to "WOW" us :) Check out the flick "Begin Again". You will NOT be disappointed, I promise xo
