Isabel Veloso, 17 years old, fulfilled a dream and got married at the beginning of the week, April 22, 2024, with Lucas Borbas.
Isabel is undergoing palliative treatment for terminal Hodgkin's Lymphoma and according to doctors, she is expected to live for only another four months.
At the age of 15, Isabel Veloso was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer that originates in the lymphatic system. In January of this year, she discovered that the disease was incurable and stopped treatment. “I am terminal because I no longer receive cancer treatment due to the time I have to live,” she explained.
“This time the cancer succeeded. I just hope that these next and last 6 months are the happiest and most sincere in our hearts. My love, today I understand that I did not come into the world not to be cured, but to heal,” she began. “But even so, know that you were the most beautiful cure of my soul. I love him, more than anything that can exist on this earth. My eternal husband, boyfriend, faithful best friend and partner. Till death do Us part. Since forever and forevermore. I love you, Lucas Borbas”, she wrote.

Isabel Veloso, de 17 anos de idade, realizou um sonho e se casou no início da semana, dia 22 de abril de 2024, com Lucas Borbas.
Isabel está em tratamento paliativo para um Linfoma de Hodgkin em estágio terminal e segundo os médicos, tem a expectativa de viver por somente mais quatro meses.
Aos 15 anos, Isabel Veloso recebeu o diagnóstico de Linfoma de Hodgkin, um tipo de câncer do sangue que tem origem no sistema linfático. Em janeiro deste ano, ela descobriu que a doença seria incurável e parou com os tratamentos. “Eu sou terminal porque eu não faço mais tratamento oncológico devido ao tempo de vida que eu tenho”, explicou.
“Dessa vez o câncer conseguiu. Apenas desejo que esses próximos e últimos 6 meses sejam os mais felizes e mais sinceros dos nossos corações. Meu amor, hoje eu entendo que não vim ao mundo para ser curada, mas para curar”, começou. “Mas, mesmo assim, saiba que você foi a cura mais bonita da minh’alma. Eu o amo, mais que tudo que possa existir nessa terra. Meu eterno marido, namorado, melhor amigo fiel e companheiro. Até que a morte nos separe. Desde sempre e para sempre. Eu te amo, Lucas Borbas”, escreveu ela.

@@arkmalisov5924 I don't know what sort of device you use to access the internet, but you likely need to clear your cache and cookies. Most devices produce such symptoms when more memory space is needful. I routinely resort to a Windows keyboard shortcut, striking the Ctrl + Shift + Delete keys simultaneously, which frees up short-term memory space. (For other operating systems, check with the manufacturer.)

my thoughts also. I was going to say I'm just speechless. What a beautiful tribute and the way to live life. We never know how much time we have left, but even if we did, live each day as if it was the only day that counts!
