I love this! I had no idea you could dance like this to cumbia music. Most Mexican events i go to they just two step and clap. Unless you put on ranchero music then they jump around. But i thought Mexicans didn't have a style of dance comparable to other Latin countries. I can't wait to learn this.

@@jamesr.g.2320 Nope, I'm black. Husband is Mexican so I attend a lot of Mexican events. This is has been my experience. His family is from Durango, very country.

Mexico is big and each area of Mexico has its own sort of culture. Durango is more rancheras, banda music, norteñas..and they kinda jump around or bounce up and down when they dance. This type of cumbias is more south mexico. Just like in the US we dont really have country western dancing in places like new york. Cumbia music and this style of dancing actually originally from Colombia, though, not Mexico.
