Whats wrong with Rxc6 instead of e6 at 10:40? doesnt that just win the Bishop?

Good photo of you on Facebook with the team in Krakow!

Thanks for the coverage, on the greek gift sometimes find it difficult to play due to the nuances and lack of quick finish if opponent plays accurately.

Got reminded of the First Power Play DVD where you explore the Greek Gift in great detail! Absolutely loved it back then. Must revisit it!

Hmmm, Greek gift lesson from a game played on a Greek island. Of course. Great lesson, looks like a fun event. Thanks!

The only time I have played the Greek Gift was in the Australian Junior Championship when I beat the eventual winner.
He had never seen it before, so didn’t try to avoid it. He may have been a stronger player than me, but I knew more about the game than he did.

In which case you were the stronger player on this battleground!

White had Rxc6 instead of e6.

And after Nxg8 he took with the king blundering Rxc6 again 😂😂

Herr Russ had played so well that there were indeed many ways to win.

After black plays Ng8, isn't Rxc6 a prosaic but instant win?

      My thought, too.
