As a native of Pennsylvania, you are right about everything... especially the weather and the potholes. The weather here is ridiculous, especially in the spring and fall. Spring & Fall lasts about 1 month, tops. Sometimes, you have to wear your winter clothes throughout the month of April (and on rare occasions, even up to May). And fall is worse. One day in early October, I went to visit my Mom in an in-patient physical therapy rehab. It was about 90 degrees that day. I walked to the facility wearing, an oxford shirt, shorts and Old Navy flip flops. Exactly, one month later, It was between 30 to 40, with a mix of snow and rain. By the time I put on my extra layers and winter clothes I looked like Nanook of the North. And don't even get me started on the potholes! My sister JUST had to get her car repaired TWICE, THIS... WEEK... all because of potholes. She's still upset about it.

Yes, autumn is my favorite time of year. Blessed relief from hot, sticky July and August, but not too cold yet. I love the weather all the way up to January 1st.

you didnt mention the transportation is really good in PA. if you live in any of the major cities you can go to new york using railway. In philly you can get to NY the capital and Boston just by HSR.

Come to North Central, PA; it is a laid back area, beautiful, and an outstanding place to live. One thing I do find that I feel is hard to except is they don't understand different people. I grew up with all kinds of nationalities in NYC but have been living in this area 20 years and this is my only complaint. If you do not like the smell of manure, the lack of popular stores and restaurants, you cannot live in my area; I, on the other hand love it. It isn't fast paced at all and we too have wonderful colleges one of which you did not mention "Bucknell." You actually cannot tell people the pros and cons of living in Pennsylvania until you have visited or lived in the entire state...though I did find your video quite interesting....

We are used to it here, but I know people that moved to Pa. from other states asked me why we seem to be so mad and rude here. My entire family moved south, and the attitude of the people down there is much more laid back then here in Pa. {mind you, I am not talking about rural areas}. The NYC and Philly attitude transmutes out into the suburbs. I know years ago when I moved to western Pa., I noticed the people had a nicer mid-western type of attitude, much different than the Philly attitude that I was used to. Like any state, it is 'where' in the state you live, cities are getting worse and good people want out, lol.

You’re very right but I do have to say, there are incredibly nice and some not so nice people in every town in the world

Pennsylvanians are like people everywhere else. In the cities and sometimes the suburbs, people can be rude. Frankly Philly has one of the worst reps for that nationwide. We are talking about people famous for throwing ice balls at Santa Claus.
However, rural Pennsylvanians are as nice as rural people anywhere else.
