@@bobbygary179 No doubt in my mind you can tell he’s lowkey talented and I’m a bigger fan of his hockey skills than his music. I mean he was so hyped as an artist when he came up it got annoying but his stocks went 📈thru the roof in my eyes. Man I love hockey.
Not saying he is bad but if you want to be real, every single Ice rink I have played at in CO has a beer a league division were the dudes are just as good/better... So nothing really that impressive, hockey has grown alot, tons of talent.
Lol biebs isn't all too bad, but talent of that level can be found at any average local rink in rural Ontario
I mean if he were to spend his time and energy evolving his game instead of music who knows how good he couldve become, but obviously he chose the better career moneywise 😅
Realistically anybody that doesnt play hockey at a professional level is getting a NHL rating of 40 or below at best. Like their are people on the top line in the OHL with a 50 overall and Bieber is not making the top line of an OHL team.

Realistically, he is probably like a 20 since he wasn't even close to being top end of AA and how many people around the world are playing at that level or higher? Remember, beer leagues are: washed up players that took a lot of time off of hockey, skilled players going at 50%, no hitting, no practices, or no set plays/hockey sense.
On the other hand, this video was just messing around, so that's why the 80s were getting tossed out there.
@@anonymous134y he's not 20 lol. Even if you just know the basics of stock handling and skating, that's enough to be 20. But Bieber is pretty good. He practises with NHLers and is actually pretty skilled. Sure he doesn't do it full time, but he's definitely a 30-40.
He's a busy kid and still finds time to get better at hockey. Gotta respect his love for the game regardless of what you think of his sassy tunes.

Comparing myself to NHL players, I’d honestly give myself a solid 8, maybe a 9 on a good day.
Im a 1 and a half. With some better conditioning, I could pump that up to a 2.5 or a 3.

Honestly....I can't stand his type of music. It's not about not liking him. I just can't stand the sound and feeling of his music. He's a decent hockey player, though. I'm amazed at that part. Good for him!

@@Emotionless0000 Certainly not top 40 canned crap. The music has no creativity at all. It's essentially formatted music. I listen to more classis forms of rock n roll....with real instruments. Ya...I'll listen to a bit of electronic. Not a fan of vocalists. I listen to all kinds of music, but it actually has to grab my attention....can be jazz, hiphop, funk, soul and so on. I just don't find current pop music creative at all. Anyway...just a few thoughts, as it's not easy to put down all my thoughts about what I like. On the whole, I just can't listen to current pop music. I get bored to death with it...and just start making fun of it. I also find male music to so often sound like female music these days. I really don't like that trend. It's pretty cheesy.

This makes me feel old. I remember being like 17 when Bieber came to the scene, and cringing at the 10 year olds getting obsessed with what I considered extremely annoying music. Now some of those very 10 year olds are NHL stars like 6 years into their careers. Crazy.
Kid is promoting the best game on the planet and works hard on his skills. All love from here.

A 74 is insanely generous. He’s not even good enough to play at the WHL level. Those guys are mostly in the 50s.
The obvious falacy in this argument is that a professional player scores in the 50's. Clearly, only a small percentage of hockey players ever play pro. The worst pro is among the best 5 percent of all players. On that scale, Bieber is way above average. He's still a long way from being a pro, but 70-80 is not unreasoable for his skillset.
Not professionnal caliber for sure, but i'm still impressed by his dribbling, hands speed and skating. A solid beer leaguer that could dominate lots of leagues. Thumbs up Bieber
