I’m sure your way of doing this practice works. But I don’t understand why the original teachings are being changed. If you watch any of Dr.hui Lens videos , he says u don’t have to feel anything. Also, he also says you never address the person when you say these statements, you only address your inner child or god or whoever you believe is higher self. I have practice this off and on. I never put feelings and it still does the cleaning. The ultimate goal is to get to 0. You can’t get to 0 if your feeling any sort of emotion. Of course there is always room for new teachings. But I think it’s important for people to know the very foundations of this practice and what was originally taught.
