However, hows that for Injustice: an actor of Rons caliber, who happens to have a deep, manly, testosterone inducing voice, gets directed in a way, that makes him sound like a boring, annoying Joker. I havent seen the animated series, but these sound bites just convince me that it was made by people, who didnt know anything below the surface of the MK mythology...

Ed Boon, Patrick Seitz, and Ron Yuan. Ed Boon made Scorpion famous with simply two aggressive catchphrases. You could never deny that he brought life to the character. Patrick Seitz really captured Scorpion’s hateful and vengeful essence perfectly. Every time I heard him speak I heard nothing but rage, even when Scorpion was calm. I was skeptical of Ron Yuan at first, but he does a really good job portraying Scorpion as Hanzo Hasashi. It’s nice to hear Scorpion speak with a much calmer tone now that he’s found peace relative peace.

Ron Yuan is PERFECT for Hanzo Hasashi! It goes so well with how the character as developed and progressed over time. Patrick Seitz works well for when Scorpion was still full of rage and seeking nothing but revenge. Ed Boon is fun for nostalgia. Ron Perlman is great, but doesn't fit for Scorpion. He'd work better as Reptile or Quan Chi or another villainous guy character. Maybe even Shao Kahn.

Patrick Seitz and Ron Yuan are the best. Between those two, I'm not sure which I like better. I'm used to Seitz's voice since he's voiced him so many times. @Its Frosted I actually much prefer Ron Yuan over Patrick Seitz for the voice of Scorpion as Yuan has an amazing vocal quality thats lends itself so perfectly to the character. I still like Patrick Seitz version of the character but theres just something about Yuans take that I like way better than Seitz. Being honest I would actually love if Yuan was kept on for future Mk projects as Scorpion cause he does such an amazing job. Having said that I know that my opinion may be a little unpopular but MK11 Scorpion is my favorite voice in the entire franchise for the character.
Like many people, I was annoyed when I learnt that Patrick Seitz wasn't reprising his role, but Ron's work has grown on me. He perfectly encapsulates where Scorpion's headspace is at. His vengeance sated, and his mind at peace. (shame about the story though......)

I actually really like Ron Yuan as Scorpion. He just has the right pitch and tone for me, especially with the accent Hanzo should logically have, and his more wiser, reflected character development.

Ron brought a very authentic voice to Scorpion and Hanzo. So I like him the best so far. Patrick was great at the wrathful voice of scorpion but still didn't sound like a japanese man... Since, Hanzo Hasashi a.k.a Scorpion comes from Japan, I was wanted him to have that Japanese accent which the older versions didn't have. this is why I think Ron Yuan's voice perfectly lines up with scorpion's character(which is the mortal kombat 11 version). However we all will always remember Ed Boon for the "GET OVER HERE !"
I do prefer Seitz _overall,_ and his quotes in MKX are delivered absolutely flawlessly, but Ron Yuan’s subdued and deeper voice provides a nice humane side to Scorpion rarely ever seen, compared to the _epic_ hellish rage that Seitz gives off. Both of them work.

We really should give Ian Anthony Dale props for his live performances. A loving father as Hanzo and full of hate and contempt as scorpion. You can just hear it in his voice
I actually really like Ron Yuan as Scorpion. He just has the right pitch and tone for me, especially with the accent Hanzo should logically have, and his more wiser, reflected character development.
Patrick Seitz has done the best job in voicing Scorpion out of everyone else

Ron Yuan has got Scorpy down!
Since, Hanzo Hasashi a.k.a Scorpion comes from Japan, I was wanted him to have that Japanese accent which the older versions didn't have. this is why I think Ron Yuan's voice perfectly lines up with scorpion's character(which is the mortal kombat 11 version).
However we all will always remember Ed Boon for the "GET OVER HERE !"
Everybody saying Ron Yuan is the better Hanzo but I really like Patrick's Hanzo more.

I do prefer Seitz _overall,_ and his quotes in MKX are delivered absolutely flawlessly, but Ron Yuan’s subdued and deeper voice provides a nice humane side to Scorpion rarely ever seen, compared to the _epic_ hellish rage that Seitz gives off. Both of them work.
