VCV Rack to external DAW recording setup tutorial

This is a short tutorial video of my way recording VCV Rack Patches with external DAW Garage band with a free third party application: IShowU Audio.

So basically it's the same as recording in VCV and then using .wav in a DAW but more difficult.

Yes and no. You can record live actions synced to the happenings is the other DAW or also play live on your own instrument built in VCV Rack. VCV Rack has a little bit different structure than other DAWs and maybe you want to integrate the features. This is one way, but there are many others, I'm sure.

have you build any tutorial based on Generative sound design technique in VCV rack ?

There are more experienced experts on that, e.g. Omri Cohen. I learned everything that I know about VCV Rack from his tutorials. I only know and use a few modules. It is a tough competiton :)
