Development of the first Soviet post-war medium tank started in 1951. In 1961, the T-62 tank with a smoothbore gun was deployed. At the same time a variant, the T-62A, with a rifled gun was also deployed. In March 1962, mass production of the T-62A was discontinued. The T-62 tank was mass-produced from 1961 through 1975, with a total of twenty thousand vehicles manufactured. Later modifications of the vehicle are still in service.

I'm still relatively new to the game, and I was recommended to get this as another Tier 10 since I don't have very many. Not a meta tank, but I really enjoy playing it. Even has my current damage record (6,500). Great to see this tank getting featured. :)
If you are new to the game, here are some recommendations.
Good Tier 10 tanks:
Heavy: 60TP / E100 / S. Conqueror / IS-7 / Obj. 277 (more mobile than IS-7, but with less armor)
Medium: Obj. 140 / CS-63 / E50M / Leopard 1.
Tank Destroyer: T110E3 / Badger / Ho-Ri 3 / Obj. 268/4 (It's still good, but it was nerfed)
Light: EBR 105 / Manticore / T-100LT.
Some of these are widely used in Clan Wars, such as:
S. Conqueror / IS-7 / Obj. 277 / E100
Obj. 140 / CS-63
Obj. 268/4 / T110E3 / Badger
EBR 105 / Manticore
The T 62A is awesome. One of my first T10 tanks in 2012. Great job.
@@flea4theLord i got it back in 2013, it was good back then, it was the rof king. also it's the only t10 tank i have with 3 marks. now it's a mediocre t10 med tank, wouldn't recommend it.
