It was early 1981, wondered if they were still together . . . I just had to wait in the right place. To my fortune one freezing winter night they played at the Second Chance in Ann Arbor, their hometown! I was there, front row.
YES! Made me smile big time! BTW, who's the opening band with the girl drummer? Drum kit & other clues hint at a mid-60's era. I can't make out the bass drumhead logo clearly enough... I think is is "1+1/2"?

One of the things I have done is see the Commander at a bar called the Whales Tail in Lahaina, Maui in 1979. It was way "Too Much Fun"
Actually had the pleasure to see him in 1977. What a show. It was "almost" too much fun...............

I've used that expression, ever since I heard it back when I had my Commander collection on LPs. 'FUN' mix on the images & timing!
