Hi
Thank you for your videos.
Would you please tell me the name of the Nile in ancient Egyptian language.
In ancient times, the Egyptians used to call it ITERU
I would search along the edges of the old Nile delta west of the current Nile river for signs of older Egyptian structures and artifacts. The former Nile delta should be very fertile farmland as it is mostly silt. Tens of thousands of years of it. On Google earth you can clearly see the former Nile delta as it is darker soil, you can make out the aluvial fan, some wadis are located along this fans extremities. The ground water should be more abundant as well. This former river bed should contain a bounty of fertility as well as ground water to support some agriculture in this area.
In Middlesbrough UK where I live we have a monthly Egyptology group with a speaker at each session . We hold open public meetings no previous knowledge needed. People can bring items along to show the group. Are there any other similar groups it would be nice to hear from other groups or individuals. We have a Facebook site Egyptology Middlesbrough. We get around 20 people a session
It’s great to hear that there’s so much local interest in Egyptology.
Here in the States, there are mostly groups associated with the American Research Center in Egypt (ARCE). You can look up ARCE chapters for more info. You could also join my Facebook page 😉

I am from Egypt
Cool!
In the winter in Egypt it is as hot as the summer in the United States
@@antonuoshani3058 It depends on where in the States we're comparing to. Where I live, the temperature is similar to that of Cairo. Not as hot as Upper Egypt, though.
Voices of Ancient Egypt I know I meant New York
yurrrrr
i liked that video but its a little bit long ...
Dude, it's less than 10 minutes long. 😆
I just got big brain.
Memphis; the capitol of ancient Egypt... except for the first dynasty which ruled from Thinis, the 900 year period where it was Thebes, that time when Ramesses the Great decided he could build a better capitol in the delta, or the last 1000 years before Egypt became a Roman province when Egypt was successively ruled from at least 7 different capitol cities (non of them Memphis).
These videos explaining ancient Egypt always seem to make Egypt look like one kingdom that barely changed over its 3000 year history. That's like saying Clovis and Napoleon ruled the same kingdom... only with double the timespan.
@5:50 min the FLOW DIRECTION .....SOUTH TO NORTH .........on a globe model ..imagine that
