My husband's mother said hockey for poop. Once I took my son to the mall with the ice rink and the local hockey team was practicing. My son was 3 and wanted to watch. He asked what they were doing. I told them they were playing hockey. He said okay and was silent for a minute. Then he looked up at me and said, "Grandma doesn't have any sticks like that for me to use when I hockey." I realized he thought they were batting a ball of poop around on the ice and I almost wet my pants laughing at him.

Agreed. There's a difference between scripted and planned. Planned just means "ok we'll talk about this subject, then this, then this." It helps keep the flow of the episode, helps them stay on track and stick to a certain time slot.

I was on a 13 hour flight to New Zealand. I took one of my sleeping pills I was on at the time and slept for a whole 12 hours, the only time I woke up was then they woke me up to eat, then I'd pass out again. When there was 1 hour left I woke up and started putting stuff away, I looked at the two people next to me (I was window seat) and they looked worried and said "Do you need to use the rest room?" I said yes and they bolted out of their seats smiling at me with relief. I think they thought there was something seriously wrong with me XD
