“CALM YOURSELF!” - one of my most used phrases as an equestrian professional - there is not a single situation it’s not relevant, being it horse or rider 😂
Freddys excitement on the massive rear is so funny 😂 he just couldnt help himself. Only one point between you ! Think it should have been a tie personally 😉
As do I, I’m sure he’ll go and eat a treat over on Instagram 😂
I love the dynamic between Meg and Freddy! They're hilarious.
This was so enjoyable on so many levels. Freddy’s obviously got an incredible feel for a horse. And the stallion was so wonderful. You could just see him thinking and working it all out. He was phenomenal. What a tuck!
I love Freddy’s attitude and how he teaches! He has a great personality and I loved to see his energy and excitement when Meg succeeded and the horses does a great job.
The fact that he could see how capable Meg is and helped her work through her fears shows what a good person he is.
His humor is definitely great and I loved to see him and Meg’s chemistry together.
I really liked how Freddy's jumping challenge was really about "how do we teach the horse to answer this question". Was lovely seeing his horse get it within the one session.
“They want Freddy doing it bareback” - CONTEXT is very important here 🤣🤣🤣🤣
i need freddy to train me 🤣he’s so brutally honest 🤣
"Erm...Freddy im beached!"...🤣🤣🤣 had me in stiches, awesome video, well done everyone. How Pete remained composed whilst filming was very professional, great team.
"YOU HIT ME!" "Yeah but it was realistic 😊" I can't with y'all 😂
Loving vlogmas so far! This one was ridiculously entertaining but loved how much I learnt from Simon and Winnie in the first one 👌
“It’s acting darling”, I love Freddy 😂
LOVE Freddy's singing to calm both horse & rider🙌🏼
Those rears were amazing Meg! Wow! I thought you did brilliantly. I loved every minute of this vlogmas episode! And Freddy jumps like a pro! He has a great, relaxed attitude. Loved the banter! Stunning horses! 😍 I give this vlogmas 10/10😊👍
I love your intro with your dressage coach 🤣 adds such a nice touch your video meg!
Glad we got to see Freddi again! Such an entertaining episode ❤ Funny banter, very relaxing to watch. And the two point five horses were so amazing 🤎🤍🤍
Freddy nailed the jumping, love how he gets Meg to push her comfort zone too!
"Don't want to knock his confidence, don't care about yours!!!!" THat was hilarious🤣!!!
Meg and Freddy, the best duo!! So funny, love it
FLIRT FACTOR is high!!! 🐎
Friendly interactions between men and women are not inherently flirtatious. What you saw what friendship, not flirting.
@@annaabney1420 I don't remember saying they were inherently flirtatious and of course you'd know what I saw better than me.
I don’t know why, but it feels so refreshing to have someone admit that they’re scared but still tries it but does not overstep your own boundaries
Can you please do a video on basic tips for beginners? 🥰
I've never struggled so hard to finish my 10k on the treadmill, the two of you had me wheezing from laughter 😂 waiting to watch this wasn't an option once I saw who was featured. This was a solid gold episode! Well done!
Edit: and what a beautiful horses! A real treat to see two Lusitano's love the breed
@elphick.event.ponies I did and it was way more fun than usual thanks to vlogmas! Thank you for the good times!
Great, fun vlog. Love the banter between you two. Freddy is a very talented guy. I think he could ride almost anything. He has soft hands and a very relaxed manner. Lots of fun guys.
Brilliant everyone. Stunning horses, the last rear was epic Meg x
The big bareback rear has easily made this my favorite vlogmas episode
That was brilliant
Horses are magnificent creatures and I think it shows most when they rear and kick their fore legs.
Every time he looked behind him I worried, loved your riding Meg! The rears were impressive and those horses are so amazing
Meg, I loved every minute of this. What kept going through the back of my mind was, "I wonder how many days it will take until Meg's not sore any more." My muscles were cringing, watching yours! lol. Seriously though, this was a great vlog. Fun, educational, gave us a little peek into the world of horses in movie-making. I also loved the banter between you, and seeing Freddy's stunts... and how he was more gleeful than you, over that last epic rear you rode. I wish you could feel your capability as clearly as all of these pros you work with do. "Just do what the coach says. They're not going to send you into trouble (paraphrased maybe). Words of wisdom. Thanks Freddy, thank you Meg, and the whole team.
God I just love the Iberian horses. What a beautiful pair of Lusitanos. That stallion is simply lovely. What a good, willing, honest boy! And I'm so envious that you got to sit a trained rear.
We need a full version of Freddy’s song he was singing 😂
Love how Freddy is pushing you out of comfort and you being so brave. After getting through you were a lot more comfortable and confidential ❤
How far you have come Meg, from your "meltdown" at Lucindas. Your confidence is amazing. You're willingness to try anything, I'm so happy for you.
Meg, your vlogs are incredible! Great concepts, wonderful rapport with guest, fantastic camera work. Really a pleasure to watch.
Love his singing… helps keeps him relaxed and in a rhythm…. 👏👏
This video had actually made me chuckle out loud. Meg you’re so much fun to watch 🙌🏼
Meg you are the best person in the world I look up to you soo much you are a really inspiring equestrian
Such a good video. The dynamic between the two of you is fab. I could watch you two all day.
He is great for encouraging you out of your comfort zone . Well done guys x
" Your not meant to swear "
" Oh " 😂😂😂😂
I enjoyed this so much! The sibling energy between these two is top notch ❤
Absolutely love this! Freddy pushes you out of your comfort zone, but is so positive about it. Well done Meg 😀 xx
such a brilliant video! i love trick riding and Meg you were really brave. Freddy's personality and attitude are wonderful as well. would love a teacher like him if i ever dared to do this.
This was such a great video! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Meg you did fantastic! Freddy is an awesome teacher and was hilarious 😂
This vlog was absolutely brilliant! You two together are hilarious! Enjoyed every minute❤

Love that he's voice trained
Loved it so much! You were really brave to try everything! That bareback rear was epic!!!!
I absolutely love riding dares, and even better with Freddy!
Knowing freedy personally, theres very little he fears😂 the guy seeps confidence! You both generally looked great! Jumping into eachothers worlds
“Freddie.. I’m beached!” I have just cried laughing at this 😂
Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVED this!! Was so interesting to watch & so so funny at the same time! Could definitely watch it again x
OMG, Freddy is the best teacher and Meg, well done for trying everything! Loved it!!!❤
Such a great episode and had me in stitches. ‘I’m beached!’ Had me 🤣, best line ever! You did so well and Freddie is amazing 🤩
As a stunt rider myself, I know the pain face that Meg did very well😂😂
I havent smiled so much in ages! Freddys sense of humour bouncing off yours is epic!
Really enjoyed watching. Even Hubby watched this with me and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had such a laugh at times. Adore the Lusitano!
Freddy is very good at walking and trotting backwards, is that a skill that’s needed as well in stunts? 😂
Only halfway through but loving it so far!!
Not sure with stunts but it is for the type of dressage and working equitation that Iberian horses do. They have incredible power and agility.
So proud of you meg truly as much as every inch of you was screaming no you pushed forward and that says so much of your growth
Oh my gosh, this was the most fun video! I loved it. And Freddy is so cute and so much fun!
I’m dying laughing. Seriously I have tears. Thanks Meg. That was great entertainment 😂
What a great Vlogmas! I really loved the rearing Meg! And how challenging one another made for such a good time ❤. You are both very good sports! 😊
Still at the pommel training bit of the video, and I just love your dynamic with Freddie. You guys get at each other like siblings, and it's so funny to watch xD Your collabs with him are definitely my favorite!
This was such an entertaining video! Agree though I absolutely found Simon and Winnies video incredibly entertaining and informative too. A wonderful vlogmas so far
Please take Freddie along to a 5* for a jump lesson on their horses!! That would be epic!! Also we need a swipe up kick on for all 4 of the usual gang to choose a rider from a different discipline to compete as pairs!!
The editing is PERFECTION. It’s so hilarious 😆 😂
OH my Gosh that was extremely cool to watch!!! Congrats for over coming many fears! What a opportunity !
Brilliant - had me giggling. Lovely lovely lusos, too! Adore a baroque horse.
Meg! The trick riding has boosted your confidence 10 fold! It makes falling off on the pad look like nothing now! Good for you girl!!! You should go practice this regularly and you'll be ready for anything. I know you were scared, but you did damn good and looked fab! Congrats girl!
eeee i’m so excited to watch this!! i love your videos meg!!!!
This one had me actually giggling Meg! You're both hilarious 😂
Well done both of you again Freddie is so funny, but talented. Those horses were stunning.
I absolutely loved this episode ❤️
I'll be sure to watch it a few times 🎉
Fantastic vlog... Freddie is so funny and talented. Well done Meg doing all the scary tricks 🙌👏 and good falling off Pete 👍💜
I think this was actually so good for you Meg! Your nervous system is probably all fried after all that adrenaline but with the good experiences comes learned resilience too :) Freddy is a great balance to your fear and brought some serious laughs LOL
Love this 🎉 😱😂❤️ he was like , still learning Meg lol !! 😱so funny😅😮😂 beautiful horse ❤ enjoyed this ❤
Omg meg! You are so brave! I would be terrified!! Great job!
Well done Meg! Takes me back to when I was a young girl riding bareback and doing tricks on my horse 😊
Stunts are terrifying, but those mounting techniques, sure do come in handy with my tibial plateau fracture. As my right leg is weaker, you did amazing with this Meg, scary and exhilarating all at once.
Well done Meg. You did really well. Especially the bareback rear. Good on you. And Freddie's advice at the very end was true. A professional will never ask you to do something that they don't think you can do, or put you in danger. 😊
Am I the only one who realized that technically they tied. Seen as Freddy originally said 8 for raw talent but then at the end said 7. Meaning that it was a tie😂. Loved this vlog though, so funny❤
Can’t wait to watch this!
This was hilarious from start to finish!! 😂❤
That was fun guys. Good for Pete giving it a go too. Beautiful horses. xOx
So funny! Laughed the whole way through
Love these flogs..well done both of you ❤❤
Loved this vlog. Really interesting and funny ⭐️
Loving this last time I tried valunting (with help) I went up and over the top of the horse and ended up on the ground the other side.
How fun! Man, I’d be all over those exercises with the fab tutelage and incredible horse. That being said, I would have sucked! ❤❤😂😂😂
I think this might be one of my favourite videos in existence 🎉😂❤
Loving this Vlogmas!
It's so great how you went from sh*tting yourself just getting on the mock horse to getting on and throwing yourself off it regularly without question 👍
Love this, so funny and Lov how feddie was singing to cover nerves 😂😂
Not just to “cover nerves”. Singing helps you keep your canter in the same rhythm on the approach to a jump. Helps to eliminate last minute “blast-offs” or conversely last minute pulling to a jump. It acts as a metronome, and is very helpful to tell if you’re maintaining the rhythm and pace you need (since horses don’t have speedometers). It also helps the rider relax by forcing them to breathe correctly (no forgetting to breathe bc you’re nervous), and gives your mind something else to focus on other than hyper-fixating on the height of the jump or worrying about getting the correct distance for take-off. I’ve been riding and jumping for almost 30 years now (great, now I feel old!), and I still often use this method. I do it a lot at competitions, bc singing or quietly counting your strides aloud does help you keep a steady pace and rhythm, and does help to ease competition nerves. I just sing or count strides more quietly 😂
Hilarious and awsome. Made me laugh. And huge respect to you both.x
God I love Freddy, he cracks me up 😂 Well done Meg, you did so well!! 🤍
Loving vlogmas 🎄🌲🎅🏼and u❤❤❤
I loved this vlog never laughed so much in my life. Also he sounds like my mum “CALM YOURSELF” whilst I have a quick panic attack haha anxiety for life ✌🏼
Beautiful grey he jumps really well Freddy is a beautiful rider and very funny. Meg you did great with the rears too. That was fun to watch. Tfs😎🏇😎
I love how meg doesnt hide her fear at all and really shows its ok to be unsure! Riding is fantastic but dangerous and i love how she sugarcoats Nothing ❤
