Hiiiii Riss welcome back. I have missed you. Let me say I still watch makeup tutorials I actually watch them every day. I enjoy doing my makeup for work even though at the hospital we are still wearing our face mask. I still want to look cute and put together with out all thAT heaviness and all the layers of powders and stuff. Sistah you have no idea how much I needed this tutorial in my like 👏🏽👏🏽. Plus I am starting to have hot flashes and I believe this tutorial would do the trick.
I just did my makeup with you and let me tell you Riss !!!this is it right here 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽. Yeeeesss I am loving it. And you know what my under eyes don’t look cakey and dry. I have combo skin, and I was setting my under eyes with translucent powder using my damp beauty blender and it looked blurred at first but then It would dry me out and then you could see like the tiny little lines But using my small complexion brush did the trick. Thank you for that trick. Anyway let me stop blabbing 😂😂. I’m so glad your back and please do the makeup tutorials I’m here for it and you. I loved loved loved this tutorial. It’s that grown and sexy lazy girl makeup look. LOL

I've only worn lip liner and lip gloss, never knew how to do the other, You look beautiful and your earrings are fire.
Same! Over time, I transitioned from lip liner to using lip sticks as my liner. Its kind of my cheat code for that "ombre" affect. I will attempt to do my eyebrows and will use a skin tone concealer to blend my dark marks, but I am such a novice still when it comes to makeup and I've been watching make up tutorials since 2013. My profile picture on here is the only time that I've had my makeup professionally done. I really want to be able to get by on my own, especially when I'm finally able to go in the office again. Lol, I started a new job last August and we're still not in the building 🙃

Good evening Ms. Lorissa. I have been watching your videos and have learned a lot. Thank you for what you do. The only issue I am having now is that I am about 3 shades darker than anyone I can find on youtube and dont really know which shades in each product I should get. You use the shape maple for concealer. I purchased chai, it two shades darker. It hasnt come in the mail yet and im afraid its too light. I also purchased the glow setting powder but im also afraid that it might be my exact shade and not a contour shade. Since I'm chocolate in color, I am afraid to try the same products for fear that they wont match my tone. When purchasing online its almost impossible to figure out what shade to buy since im a beginner. Where I live, sephora, pharmacies, etc dont cater to my shade, since the population here is predominantly white. Do you know any good make up influencers on youtube that are my shade that you can recommend?
You can also call this quarantine or covid makeup as well☺️ Because before those I would NEVER leave the house without a full face but now?! I’m lucky if I care to wear\ bring lipstick 😂 my makeup consists of mask and hand sanitizer 😂

Less is so much more for me. I want to look nice but still look like me when I wash my face. There is a time and a place for cakey make-up... however, it's very few and far in between that I'm in that zone. Even when I go out, I don't wear much make up. I try my best with my eyebrows and then I just use a skin tone concealer for dark marks. I want to get better with an every day, basic look but.... I also want to be able to beat my face when it's time to "step". Balance 🧘🏿♀️

I find makeup tutorial so much more interesting now but not when they become too difficult for everyday people like myself, I lose interest
