Sonos Update Notes: support.sonos.com/en-us/artic... - Věda a technologie
I love this channel for its detailed and honest reviews sprinkled with humor. Very underrated, you should have more subscribers with these quality contents. Keep up the good work man and can't wait to see your next soundbar review!
Hell yea! Love you Ginga! What tv and sound system are u rocking? Have LG C2 OLED, Kef speakers, and an Onkyo receiver (RZ50)
After watching so many audio tech videos, some of which were underwhelming, it's difficult to believe how a relatively new channel has posted such a comprehensive, and non-tiring, vid on audio tech.
Extremely detailed, to the point, yet with sprinkles of humor. Keep it up buddy!
Not really really new but maybe no longer subterranean. Appreciate the comment!
@@neverenoughtechmmkk
@@neverenoughtechwe all appreciate what you do Sir!
That was a great throwdown review... thank you. I have the Samsung Q800C soundbar and added the 9200S rear speakers for surround sound so your video was clearly outside my weight class but I very much enjoyed it nonetheless. Very nice work.
You should’ve chosen the 9500s they are better for that soundbar
Why you only have 18.2k subs is beyond me, you are truly one of the best explanatorial channels on youtube ... please share eveyone .... just wonderful and awesome editorial and creative editing 🙂
It’s on the upper end of 18.2k - I appreciate the encouragement
Almost 27k subs now. This channel will hit 100k soon, just you wait and see.
Almost 30k now!!
Well, I've just subscribed your channel because you have great reviewing skills. Keep up the good work.
I always enjoy your reviews. Very unique and spot on!!
Andrew Robertson will be envious
Yep great attention to detail along with humor. Superb job as always.
I already bought my q990b thanks to your reviews but I continue to watch this channel just for the takes. Making a video comparing these two provides the most value to buyers IMO
You pretty much have the C -- appreciate the comment
Consider upgrading to the Q990c for maximum enjoyment 😊
@@michael-4k4000 Depends what has changed and if those changes are important enough to pay extra for.
Thank god I didn't wait!! you are great brother!
I've only seen one or two videos and I think you're doing really, really good tests. Because a test in combination with a comparison of an equivalent device is at least 50% better than a test with no comparison. Thank you for that. 🤩👍🏼💪🏽
First of all thank a lot for the great work done in preparing these detailed reviews and comparisons. I wonder if in relation to the good analysis done on the Sony HT-A9 system, you will ever find the time to compare it with the Sonos kit that includes surround with the Era 300. in any case thanks thanks again.
Your video is perfect. Thanks! Earned a sub, even though I came here for one time purchase advice about Q990C
I buyed Q990c for 800 dlls days ago and I'm surprised the detail of sound. Thanks for the review. Greatings from Mexico.
*Chef's kiss* Your reviews are awesome, love the satire, humour and detailed content. Hope you hit your 20k target!
Many thanks!
First time seeing one of your videos. FANTASTIC! HILARIOUS! INFORMATIVE! Keep up the fantastic work and stay entertaining! SUBSCRIBED..... DONE! 👍👍
Wait just watched this and found you at 22k subs! Congratz!
Because of the price, I thought the Sonos Arc was the best out there and I was considering getting the 990C to have a decent system that could make me imagine how the Sonos would sound like, now I see the 990C could actually be better in many situations 😅. Thanks for the review, now I am sure of my purchase
The Samsung 990c is amazing and engaging and just simply fun.
Wowww, fantastic review. U were cirurgic precise in every detail. Congratulations!
😀
This should be one of the longest video. But as a person interested in soundbars and tvs, i sticked on to this video the entire time listening to each and every word.
Man your such a genius and hardworker. Good luck for your futute million audiophile subs .
Kind words
Finally a q990c indepth analysis and camparison. Thank you .
Thanks for watching!
Well done review sir. 👍
Thank you.
Many thanks!
First time watching your video.. Very informative and prolly one of the best comparison videos and loved the hint of sarcasm sprinkled around 😂... 🍻
Appreciate it!
I added my Sonos ones with the Arc side to side, with my 300 s and sub makes my forward sound 10 times better, I know it’s not the sound bar but it’s an improvement, great video 👍
Next time you can, get a second sub for your setup and put that in the back of the room. It will shake the roof.
Wow! Impressive review, I feel you exhausted everything I needed to know, and despite being a long video, I don't need to jump into other videos.
Thanks!
Thank you for posting this helpful video. I enjoy your videos and humor.
Happy to hear
This video was amazing, my lord you are going places haha your humor is top tier 😂
When he said a guy went to his face and shot his gun...I was on the couch and shouted AYO SON CHILL PAUSE THAT 😂😂😂
Not sure where I’m going but to take out the garbage and pull some weeds. Appreciate the sentiment!
Thank you for doing quality soundbar reviews. This space on CZcams needs it!
Thanks so much … it means a lot
Yes he does the best reviews, and the man knows his stuff
You made the video a lot of fun to watch and listen! Kudos
Appreciated!
Awesome video!! Now we need to see the new nakamichi dragon 😊
I did my part - paying them a bunch of money - they need to send it to me
congrats on the 20k subs!
If you your paste the goal in enough videos … thanks!
These have been the battle for me on which first Soundbar to get for my new apartment. I think I'm definitely going with the Q990c. Amazing video BTW.
They make for an interesting choice for sure. Appreciate the comment!
Your neighbors will hate you hahah
Love this channel! ❤
Appreciated!
The lack of bass is a deal killer for me. If there's one thing that makes a home audio system, it's that deep, rich bass.
Excellent review 👍
Thanks!
I appreciate your dark humour. Good stuff. Keep it up!
I thought I was just grumpy … hadn’t realized it went dark …. Either case … will do 😎😀🌧️
I currently have the HT-A9 with SW5. Really like this review of these units as I'm kinda looking around for maybe a change. What I don't understand with these companies is why they can't come out with the ultimate solution? That would be a slim center channel unit (2.5 inches max height) that would contain center channel and all the electronics necessary for wireless, processing, etc.. I don't even care if it only has one eARC port. There would then be four speakers that are spread out that contain necessary drivers and upfiring atomos drivers included. Sort of like the imaginary Sonos ARC with four ERA 300s that you rigged. Of course it would be much simpler and cost a hell of lot less! Gerry
26000 subs January 2024! well done really appreciate your honest and detailed reviews!
It was a welcomed overshoot. Appreciate the support!
Yes congratulations sir! Love your channel! Most in-depth reviews around. AR reviews ate great, but lack a lot of details which you provide in spades!
Really enjoyed the video. Nerd talk and humor are balanced perfectly, keep up the good work!
I gave up on all the brands siundbars and finally got the arc and sub when they got discounted last year and I'm happy as hell. Best sounding sub. Now I'll just wait 5 years when they discount the era 300
This was great, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks. I was secretly hoping your answer was definitive about the HW-Q990C. I will wait for the technology in this area to develop further to get quality Dolby Atmos sound.
Clever and informative. Thanks for more great content! Now if I can just convince my wife that we need an ATMOS system. I think the Sonos would be an easier sell since we could use the 300s elsewhere in the house when not being used for movie watching.
I’ve often employed the they’ve (300s) always been there gas lighting method but you might have a more mature relationship
Keep the vids as long as you need to educate and entertain us
Great, honest, and informative review. Thank you for the tons of information. I am looking for a new TV and soundbar and was considering both of these. One thing, though, exacerbated! Not, ex-aspirated. You are welcome, and thank you!!
Too few would catch that - thanks for pointing it out
Awesome video !!!
Great video thank you!
Your channel deserves more subs!
I appreciate the sentiment … I’m of the mind that you have exactly as many as you deserve (assuming YT is being fair). But maybe I can figure out how to deserve more.
Just bought q990C because of this review. I never watch videos more than 20 minutes but this review made me stay till the end. Entertaining and mind blowing!
Thanks! Firstly, you're damn hilarious, and I love your style and snarky attitude. Secondly, I emailed you once needing advice, and within 6 to 8 hours you got back to me, and that was astonishing! Keep it up. I'll spread the word!
Many many thanks!
Sucky muy ball now
Great review, I'm so close to purchasing the Sonos system, but after this review, I will wait for the next Arc and deal with subpar sound for another or two.
I’ll reiterate to Sonos the dire need for an updated bar 😀 - can’t have you waiting too long
I don't think it'll beat Samsung since their priority seems to be on aesthetics. But if you're an extremely good hacker you'll get the Samsung bar and the Sonos Era 300 speakers and pair them up. Or you can just buy a Nakamichi Dragon instead and get the best of both worlds for the price of them both combined (assuming you don't get a deal on them, if you do get a deal on them it's more expensive).
Big fan of your work! Had a question for you. In a previous video, you briefly mentioned an HDMI splitter that didn’t reduce the audio or video quality. Which splitter was that? Our theater room has an Epson LS800 projector that I love, but it only comes with ARC. I feel like I can tell a difference (drop) in the video quality after plugging the AppleTV into the 990C first and then running a cable to the projector. Hoping the splitter you mentioned can help me get the best audio and video possible.
The HD Fury Arcana - it works but it can be a little fussy - a bit of a homebrew vibe to it
I dont know about 35 but i picked one for $850 brand new, your review is appreciated and helped making a decision. For that price it was a no brainer.. Thank you
Excellent review! Thank you 🙏 what system would you recommend for Tv LG OLED C3?
My video recommendations would not change based on that tv model - Sonos may release a new soundbar and more functionality this year so it may be worth waiting . czcams.com/video/UCnY0bGPpB8/video.htmlsi=JslYwn-bDHxkGcJM
Thank you!
love my q990 c. the Sound fills my room so well even with my high 13 ft ceiling.
This is touching on a point I should emphasize more big space is flattering to the good systems. Don’t get too stressed about high ceilings
Thanks! Best Tech channel.
Wow, thanks!
Im sweating right now with anxiety and excitement as i just pulled the trigger from testing a base line LG dolby stereo bar 4.1 and i have been researching a while and this is a purchase i will enjoy for a few years forward . 2 days and my xmas present will finally be here to amplify my 80" tv setup and media wall with multi sync Led ligting kits and fireplace
Great video. Appreciate the honesty and thoroughness. Currently comparing both after returning another soundbar that just didnt cut it for the room size we have. Curious @neverenoughtech if you tried the wireless feature on the 990C? Thanks and keep up the great content!
The wireless SB connection works decent … you will get an occasional short sound cutout - historically somewhere between 1 every 30 mins to an hour … easy enough to setup but I’m not sure why you wouldn’t just give it the hard connection as you put the bar so close to the tv anyway
Thank you for the quick response. Just wanted to know what that experience was like because it’s very overlooked in reviews. Appreciate the honesty and advice.
Love to see your review as always. Between the nakamichi shockwafe ultra 7.2.4 earc and Q990C, which one you prefer? Love the Sonos too, but it’s way higher than my budget. Thank you❤
C … Nakamichi bar is extremely disappointing
Great review, thanks! One thing that puzzled me you kept referring to Bluetooth streaming on Q990C as if that was the only option (apart from Chromcast I think). But it seems to me Spotify Connect is available, which I think majority of people use afaik.
Spotify connect yes … chromecast is limited to a few regions. The Q990D got a more widespread Chromecast
This video review really makes me want to wait until next year to buy anything. The small sub on the Samsung and the weaker Arc sound bar makes it seem like there's a compromise when choosing either one of these sets. For $1500 or more, I'm not sure I'm willing to do that.
Im a sonos owner and idc what the score ends up being, this is a great video and I like this dude. New sub 👍🏽
Thanks now I know with system I need , very helpful, too long video but very helpful, thanks again
Extremely helpful comparison. Very detailed. We have a vaulted ceilings (20 ft.). What do you think which sound bar would be a better fit with the room type that we have?
For height effects Sonos. For overall fidelity Q990C
thanks brotha, just got the q990c. looking forward to them. happy new year
The b, c, and now D and very similar and they are at a point where in order to make the sound better would need to be larger. Themis is not a Samsung or Sonos issue it’s a physics issue, bigger speakers allow for better sound and better mid levels. That being said the Q990c is more than good enough!
Message did reach me in great spirits. Just bought q990d for $1,259.00 from Samsung EDU store . FWIW, the q990c was $700.00 flat. This video convinced me to spend the incremental. Thank you.🎉
I laughed out loud when you got to the part where you said you had two Arcs because I also have two (one in bedroom and one in living room). I’m researching a replacement for a 10 year old AVR system in my basement and if pressed to pull the trigger today id go with the Sony A9s. Based on reviews from you, Andrew Robinson, Digital Trends, and many others they will provide the immersive souls I’m craving. But like you, I’m really hoping Sonos will legalize the system you proposed with a bunch of Era 300s so I’m waiting to see what they do in 2024. Thanks for the great info!
I got 990 c after watching your video and this is best soundbar system i can get with this price. Yes you was right about plugging stream devices to hdmi 1 or 2 to get dolby atmos if your tv does not have eArc. I am using google chromocast with my old tv but it did not give me performance from soundbar because chromocast was connected to TV. After watching your video and searching on internet, i have connected chromocast to soundbar and it changed the game.
Just got the Q990c for around $1k, in Mexico Sonos is quite expensive and Samsung got great deals, can’t wait to give it a try, thanks for the comparison!
You don’t need an editor - you are one the best reviewer on YT. After your channel I can’t go back to AR
Too kind!
Hi! Thanks for this, pretty cool and informative video, I didn't even felt the time while watching it. Question, I just bought a Samsung S95C and I currently have the Sonos Arc+Sub+2 Ones and was considering also upgrading and getting the 990C, would you recommend it? I am not sure I want to put in the extra $$$ unless I'm getting a night/day change, so I'm not sure if upgrading to the 990C is the way to go or to hold a bit longer with what I have and upgrade down the line.
Quedate con sonos, el pack de q990c es mejor, yo lo tengo, pero no seria inteligente financieramente, tal vez mejor comprar dos eras 300 y agregarlas a lo que ya tienes .
Those 48 minutes flew by. Very entertaining to me, and don't worry my son fed him self while I was watching. Win Win.
Ohhh your kid is awesome
Watched a few of your videos now, so here's a sub and a like. I'm currently still rocking 23 year old AudioPro speakers so I only have a 5.1 system atm, but started checking wireless set-ups after I heard of the Sony HT-A9s (with the SW5 sub). Still sounds like the Sony set-up might be the better choice? Girlfriend wants to get rid of all the wires of my current system (big old reciever, big speakers, etc) and it's so much of an issue that she could approve the price, despite not caring about sound at all. :Þ
If movie magic is the more important aspect, would you recommend HT-A9 with the sub, or would you recommend one of these?
I’m kind of considering your gfs sensitivities -- the A9 is not the richest sounding system but it produces the coolest movie/cinematic effects - it’s also maybe the visually least intrusive … I have the A9 with sub in my basement … when I’m not testing SBs it’s my default down there. The risk is that the system is associated with cutouts … I have not experienced them as much as others but it will happen from time to time. If that is unacceptable your safest choice is probably Sonos which also offers a wild ride with the 300s and you also have the option for a second sub $$$$$. The C is the best sound / dollar play … probably the ugliest of the three and cutouts are less of an issue than the A9 but still something that may happen from time to time
Thx for the great and unique style of review!
Do you think the Q990C can compete or beat a classic setup such as a Denon 2800 with matching entry level speakers?
I think in some ways yes (probably more stimulating fireworks) but in terms of fundamentals separates are going to win due to the physical space - separates will also probably sound richer
Great video. I bought both the arc and Q990C and preferred the consistency on the arc for things like regular satellite tv and stereo content. The Q990C was great with Atmos, but as a house we all preferred the Arc
Arc stands for family - how it goes at our house
This was my experience as well. I initially bought the Sonos setup, then returned it for the Samsung. The Samsung blows the Sonos out of the water with Atmos movies, especially blue ray disc. And dialogue is much more clear.
But everything else, regular tv watching, music etc, the Sonos is much better. The Sonos to me has more of a HI-Fi sound from the speakers.
But in my case this is a basement setup on an 85” and we do watch movies with the volume cranked up
Great video! What setttings do you have for the Arc? Did you raise the volume on the era 300s? I find that leaving it at zero provides the most seamless sound front to back but the eras really shine when they are turned up louder.
If I’m feeling deviant - I’ll raise the 300 volume - I generally agree with you. I think you are the expert on the settings that sound the best - based on your personality and personal space
Serious work, i have some disagreement but you did everything with care. new subscriber.
I rarely allow dissenters but I’ll make an exception. Appreciate the comment.
Great review! I am curious though, which has the better subwoofer? An underperforming sub is a deal breaker for me
Sonos in addition you can add two though I think Sammy’s sub is overly maligned
Video was not too long st all. Love the reviews and only realized today that all this tile ive not been subscribed somehow. Just fixed that.
Hey,
I have been following your channel for quite sometime and it's always fun to watch your Soundbar related videos.
I am planning to get a LG SC9S with LG SPK8 rear speakers for pairing it with my LG C2.
I would like to get any input regarding the above pair.
I’ve typically been underwhelmed by LG - competent but a little soulless/flat. Looks like the rears are discontinued which is not a great sign for continued support. I’d consider the Cinema 1200 at this point for better sound/dollar but if the aesthetics is a big draw I think it’s a safe choice just not the most satisfying sound choice
First and last time watching this channel. What an abrasive attitude. I didn’t even make it to the review before moving on.
I use some spicy words (as my kids kindergarten teacher might say) - also My channel page says sassy tech reviews
I'm curious about HDCP 2.3 as it relates, or doesn't, to soundbars. Almost never see it mentioned anywhere.
Best review on CZcams 👍
😀
Great Review i will wait to see what the Q990D 2024 update brings.
As am I and about the name I am confident about the Q9xxx but not the 90 or the D. I think there os a major design change (every four years) which will come with a slightly new naming scheme. Maybe Q9500D or X. I sense they kind of maxed out the current form factor so they will have to support 120hz … go bigger (add more upward drivers at least) and upgrade surrounds and or add more. They need to go big to make up for the C upgrade
@@neverenoughtech yes I hope we get HDMI 2.1 120hz surely this should standard now with OLED eArc yep I think it will be a completely different model , I'd also like to see additional subs and rears as a optional upgrade you can add like Sonos offer's too but a center upward driver like the LG has
I bought 300s for my rears based on your last video about them and WOW, the difference between the One SL's and the 300s is night and day. Definitely recommend.
Ugh, I don't want to hear that. I bought an arc system with sl ones at the beginning of the year.
😬 oops
The 300’s are so capable, it’s kind of a waste of their talents using them as only surrounds.
@@sobeautifulsrilankatotal waste but they are awesome rears

It’s ordered - we’ll see if Nakamichi can do its part
Because of the sound signature , I chose the Sonos Arc . I spent mouths comparing audio quality ( which is more important to me) for me ,Sonos has the best sound among the several other brands.
Did you compare the sound vs 990C Samsung?
Sorry hat’s Not true . I have put all
My Sonos away
I don’t think not even you belive that 😅😂
@@mikportgal221 Sonos Shitty
Consider Samsung S990C for an upgrade to your Sonos Arc…. U will be happy!!!!
Is this a dumb question, can you pair the Samsung Q990 bar with rear Sonos Era 300s ? Maybe with the Sonos sub too ?
Absolute great video, but for all this complications, terms & especially ridiculous price($2,500 sonos) a 7.1 home theater will actual 7 speakers seems easier 😂. Your channel is super thorough & very funny thats why i watch.
I’ll take all the support I can get. Thanks!
I disagree, these sound bars are so simplistic in a great way. Do you like fiddling with your gear or watching movies easily? The SB lets you get great sound, with great bass so easily and that can’t be understated. I own Kef towers and receiver with a 5.1.2 system and it does sound better in the mids but the Q990c is so darn fun to listen to, if I didn’t know it could sound a little better the Q990c would be easily the way to go. For the price is a steal.
Now that being said, I bought the Samsung C for just less than $900 on eBay and it sounds phenomenal! I could never have afforded the Sonos so it was never in my bracket to begin with. And I used your review and others of the Sam B to make the choice about the C. Especially since I was able to get it for so inexpensive. It has a couple of cosmetic issues but I didn't buy it cuz of the way it looks. I know that that's one of your categories but it matters little to me! And as far as the fight versus Sonos and it's whole house sound with the Sam which I use the key between 15 and 25 I know can crank it up to 40 and listen to it anywhere I want to! And if I really want to scare the neighbors I can crank it up to 80 or 90!
I sense 80-90 is a good way to get the police’s attention 😬
Samsungs Q990C and Q990B soundbars are the best out there in terms of price/performance if you get them on a deal. You can get them for less than half of the price of anything that even comes close to competing. And well, if you really want the best of the best and are willing to spend over $2000 on a soundbar... might as well go the extra mile and get a Nakamichi Dragon for nearly $4000.
Samsung are great if you get them for the discount. Sonos/Dragon are if you want best of the best.
@@hackztor The Sonos is worse than the Samsung... I've seen and read quite a few comparisons. The result is pretty clear. Some soundbars have a minor advantage above the Samsung in 1 or a few areas, but other than the Nakamichi Dragon no other soundbars are as good as the Q990B and C in terms of overal experience. And for movies it's not even a contest, the Q990B and C beat out every other soundbar that isn't the Dragon.
@@thenonexistinghero How about Sony a7000? I want to know your experience of using it.
Crazy got my LG C9 with eArc and 4k 120hz , i didn't know how important that tech would be in the future
Thanks for this wonderful review. The Samsung Q990C is a mighty soundbar, not just in size but also in sound. Just heard it in the store with movies and music and it was an amazing experience.
However, I felt the surrounds were not very powerful and most of the work was done by the soundbar. Is that normal or that’s how the Q990C is supposed to sound?
Another consideration is the room size. Our room is not that big, around 13’ by 12’ (so about 150 sq. ft.). Do you think the Samsung Q990C will be a good option for this room size l? Or should I go for another option?
Btw, the Samsung Q990C is available for around $900 on a deal. Should I go for it or do you suggest some other option at this price?
Thanks again for this in-depth and amazing content. Your channel will grow at a rapid rate with this level of content and review. Hands down, your reviews are the most detailed and unbiased out of all the soundbar reviews I’ve seen on CZcams. Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks for the comment. About the surrounds you can adjust their level to be quite noticeable - also quality of audio has an impact - for instance they will sound much more pronounced from Dolbt THD than Dolby Digital +. While the surrounds are meaty in the soundbar space they are fairly minute in the separates space … so they will never be monsters but they can get plenty pound with the right content and settings. This bar will easily overwhelm a room of that size - and much bigger. This means you will just not be able to use a lot of its sound volume potential - for $900 it’s a very good purchase. And I’m sure you can find the right sound settings for it to compliment the room

Hey Daniel, thanks for your comment. I guess I'll have to tinker with the settings a bit to get the right sound. And yes, I do agree with you that I won't be able to explore the full potential of this sound bar in a relatively smaller room. The plan was to have it installed in my room and then move it to a much bigger living room when the living room ones don't work as expected.
I would like to see a comparison of the Q990C with the Bose Soundbar 900 with the rear surrounds and the base module if you already have those. I had heard the Bose in the store and they sounded incredible. Maybe because of the demo content but they sounded awesome nevertheless.
Thanks again for your hard work and dedication to the world of soundbars. You're doing an amazing job.
Keep up the good work.
Hi, great content. Very detailed, its not "fancy" but packet with information. Congrats.
I live in Poland and I bought q990 for about 900$. In case of sonos, only Arc costs ~1k$ not mentioning the rest of the set so I dont think that this is fair battle ;)
Sonos sound very dry and cold for me... Something like JBL
Hi mate love your review. Question for you. With the Samsung q990c is the surround sound still effective without the rear speakers? I will struggle with having the rear speakers in my setup. Appreciate I will lose some of that behind you sounds without the rear speakers but does the q990c still fill the room with good distribution without the rear speakers?
Yes it’s a big loss but you can change. Setting so that they can act as front speakers … improving the front sound
@@neverenoughtech thanks but what I’m saying is that will the main soundbar provide an effective bounce around the room to create a room filling sound???
I've already gone down the Sonos rabbit hole and probably stick with them for the next +5 years (18 total from Symfonisk, Beam, Arc, Fives, One SL, subs, Era 100). The ease of use with minimum frustrations from my non tech savvy family, my current/old iPhones or iPad can be a Sonos remote, being able to upgrade and repurpose individual componentes is a huge plus, don't do DVD/Bluray/XBox/Playstation, and it sound fantastic to me with any audio source.
I replaced my Nakamichi 7.2.4 with the Arc, dual sub, & Fives after X-mas and haven't regretted the upgrade. I can wait for the Arc v2 or Era 500s and hand down my Arc v1 or Fives to a family member, sell, or use in a spare room.
You should try Blu-rays/4K blurays cz that’s how you’ll get the best sound compared to streaming platforms so you’ll get to use ur sonos system to its full potential(:
@@ishkapiska4516 I did Blu-ray with Netflix; but, stopped because of the slow turnaround time and reduced selection over time compared to streaming. I think we will see an increase in streaming audio quality that will take full advantage to be very similar to Blu-ray in a few years. I'm beginning to think all physical media will go away in favor for streaming with faster data speeds.
Samsung Q990D & JBL Bar 1300, which one is a better choice in ur opinion?
My friend, I really love your channel and the rich details. I got a 55" C2 LG and an S80QR. I want to upgrade for a richer sound quality but it's kinda sad to loose the integration of LG ecosystem. What would recommend me 'til 2k euros?
I like the C that I reviewed - you might also consider something like the SVS prime wireless pro with mini sub if you are looking for stronger fundamentals. Bose 900 and sub module is fairly popular on this channel as well
impressive content...it's odd that you don't get more subs...
I’m weird … it’s a terrible strategy
I get plenty of bass from the 990c sub in my 20x17 room. previously had an SVS PB-2000 big league sub. of course that brute dug deeper, but in that "punch" freq range of 45-60HZ it shakes my couch at 0 on the gain and bass boost off. Im shocked I dont miss the SVS that much
I also think the Samsung bass is decent … I just mentioned that if they didn’t like the B they wouldn’t like the C
That was a rollercoaster. I could’ve sworn you were going to pick the Sonos. But I will likely wait for the new arc, since my home will be done by then. Also it’s good to know that the 300s are that good, that youd say the new arc should push it over the top. Great review as always! Hope you can find an editor who understands your style of video so you can go feeed the kids more often
Appreciate the comment … but I am actually hoping for something completely detached from the Arc. I sense the Arc 2 would be mostly the same … slightly updated styling and maybe broader DTS support but similar sound … I want an Era bar 1000 or whatever … something bulkier than the Arc tradition
Is there a new arc coming out? No official word on this right
@@zachmcclintock2041 yeah no official word just speculation.
