It might be a result of over usage of mobile phone or peak brightness which gets enabled when we are watching HDR content.. try enabling bedtime mode and eye comfort in settings Hope it helps ! 👍
I like the full screen caller photo. But I have to set contact image every time after every installation of o dialer. It's not synchronising the image from Google contact at a time..
I'm using the one you showed with fluid cloud. I am so used to it and now I don't care if it can't block calls because it's a real convenience (the fluid cloud).

Both are from ColorOS only.
Normal ColorOS dialer is for China devices where google dialer is banned.
