Ben, thank you for showing these three XSE's. I love the Heavy Metal color (silver). It just looks nicer. Also, thank you for showing a "bare-bones" XSE. I am planning on buying a hybrid late summer or Fall. Tossed between a fully loaded SE or a "bare-bones" XSE and the new Honda Civic Sports Touring hybrid. I am just waiting for the Civics to come out and be test driven.
The xse will have markups but also a higher resale value. Honda royally botched the civic hybrid by releasing it too late and with worse numbers than the 25 Camry
Xse barebones have the same features as se fully loaded + le lighting, bigger wheels, etc. and is still a few hundred dollars cheaper. The XSE is definitely a better value.
@@oui0384 Thank you. I agree, after looking at the differences. The better headlights and the bigger driver's LED screen where I can see my speed and other data is important to me. So it will probably be the XSE.
@@Big.W. I agree. Honda should have gotten their Civic hybrids out sooner. I've been watching how fast Toyota is getting their Camry's out. A little over one month and I am still only seeing them trickle into dealerships. If the Civic comes out this month, its going to take Fall or Winter before the dealerships have them sitting on the lot, waiting for a buyer (figuring 80K Civics to be built vs. 250K Camry's). I am hoping by then, the dealerships will have a lot of Camry's and will be willing to do a fair deal.
Camry compares to Accord, not to Civic (different segments).
You can also get cooled seats on the lower XLE trim, which I believe would also amount to under $40k. Nice review
Nice review Ben. Yes you need to pay 4k plus for the Premium Plus Package to get ventilated seats on the XLE and XLE. That brings the price up to 41k. This seems to be a consistent trend with Toyota where they're significantly hiking the prices of the top trim versions of their vehicles, whether that be the Tundra, Tacoma, Sequoia, or this Camry
Everything designed after covid will have a huge price hike over pre-covid designed, that goes for every manufacturer. They need to re-negotiate prices for new parts, and suppliers also hike the price in the name of inflation. Fyi, the manufacturer with most price hike in the past year is Cadillac.
Just a correction: the regular Premium package ($3k) comes with the ventilated seats, as well as the Premium Plus ($4k)

Hi Ben, I like the blue color on the XSE Camry.
I work for Toyota at their corporate headquarters, and we get a generous leasing program. I went ahead and ordered the XSE since pricing isn't a concern.
all blue over the bumper looks like the paint guy messed up and forgot the grill was to be black
Ya that same paint color all over the grill looks absolutely terrible.

How grippy is that wireless charging pad? Looks like a high mounted no-edge slippery place to drop a phone on the floor while cornering.
Awesome cars,we've had half a dozen of them ,ultra reliable, but Toyota needs to do away with the 19" wheels. Everyone we've had with the 19's is constantly in the tire shop. Need less rim and more tire.

the fact that you can get an XSE without the JBL system is insane! It should be mandatory in the XSE & XLE; optional in the SE .

40 grand for an XSE is insane. You can get a fully loaded K5 GT with 290 HP and over 300 torque for the same price …
and sadly it will be broken down on the side of the road couple weeks after purchase
@@slickproductions5393 I have a K5 no issues lol. Toyota is objectively more reliable from the 90’s to early 00’s (they’re having issues with the Corolla CVT’s) This isn’t 1998 anymore.. that being said to play devils advocate, have fun with your 300,000 miles 30 year ownership of mundane driving and I will enjoy my 100,000 miles of fun 😂

@fr3ddy1461 yeah me personally im not keeping the same car for 15 plus years. Kias have that 10 year 100000 mile warranty. I say if anyone gets the newer kias they're good.

To me in pictures it looked like a Subaru legacy in the back but when I saw it in person at the dealership the other day. I was mind blown. It was the ocean gem color with the optional grey slanted 19s and that car looked out of this world. By far the sexiest Camry ever. And pictures didn’t do that color justice either. The back and everything looked like a spaceship

It's too much blue. The front grill seems like a mistake.

The Tundras are made in San Antonio. It’s a good plant. They’ve made the Tundra there since its inception.
