In today’s video, me and my good friend Oscar (aka Vandenbricks) are exploring the old line from Carlsruhe To Daylesford! We will be starting at the end of the line at Daylesford as we rode the tourist railway the same day, making our way back to the Bendigo Mainline!

Great to see Trentham in such good condition, one of the best surviving 4th class stations left from the early 1880s.

The reason your finding gaps in the track is that quite a few years ago some evil people got in and stole the track for what they could sell it for as scrap metal ,good thing they were caught up with and did some gaol time. Its a lovely track and a good walk .Cheers John.

Hey I love the vids mate keep up the great content. You should check out the Ballarat to Geelong rail line that goes through Lal Lal old station there and Elaine and Meredith all the way through to Geelong. The line still gets used every now and then to Lal but they want to restore the line to a full functioning line.

Nice video mate. Trentham is a station I have wanted to visit. Good to see a lot of rolling stock stored there and in some what good shape. There is also a tractor pull competition that happens there once a year.
