We got our white Siberian Husky from a guy that just didn't take care of him. We had to do a lot of work with him when we got him. He's now in a much better place. Up-to-date with his vaccines, regular visits to the veterinarian and the most loving and beautiful dog you want to see. Huskies are very beautiful and like affection.
We rescued a 7month old who had been rehomed two or three times, he's the most amazing animal and a member of our family. so glad I found this and got to see what he looked like little ♡

It's amazing that this Husky doesn't jump this 3 and a half foot fence. My 2 female Siberian Huskies could jump a 5 foot fence without touching the fence. They could jump a 6 foot fence by jumping to the top, then jump to the other side. I wonder what would happen if a cat walked by this white Husky?
Yes That was one of my biggest fears since i have a smaller labradoodle that lovess to jump the fence but as soon as we got Simba we started training them to not jump the fence and now they both dont even attempt it anymore, also by wasting his energy throughout the day he doesn’t get too excited enough to jump the fence so I feel like we got lucky
I have a question did he shed and if he didn’t, what’s the best brush to have to remove fleas and other bugs? Having trouble finding the perfect brush. Keep in mind he doesn’t shed that much like a regular huskies do. Someone please drop any recommendations? Thank you and have a great week.
Yes my husky sheds alottttt, but its very manageable. I use a deshedding brush dedicated to husky hair texture and use it on him atleast once a week. Doing this really limits how much hair he leaves around the house and clothes, but i use dedicated shampoos that are ticks,fleas and bug repellent since its long lasting and i only have to apply it every time i give him a bath(biweekly)
I just got an abandoned 1 year old husky that looks exactly like yours, except his eyes are black. Throughout your experience of having the dog, do you have any tips on training/anything that I can use? He’s my family’s first dog, and is pretty well behaved, but likes to jump on the couch a lot. Well the fact that he is well behaved is a big plus , usually Huskies are a handful if not trained properly lol . As far as the couch training what I did was set boundaries on where Simba was allowed to go and play in and every time he went to those areas on his own or when i told him to I would reward him constantly since training requires a lot of consistency and patience. If he is always jumping on the couch just lead him off of it with a treat and when he is in a place thats acceptable let him have the treat and if he tries to get back on the couch use a word that he knows that means he did something bad like “no”, “bad” or whichever word you most likely use. @@simbathehusky8029 Ok thank you so much, I really appreciate your help!!! My husky just got neutered by the shelter before I got him, so he’s not allowed to exercise yet. I feel like this is the reason why he jumps on the couch so much, because he has so much pent up energy, or maybe the previous owner just didn’t mind him doing it. Either way though, his first vet visit is tomorrow and I’m very excited. I also am not sure if every husky is like this, but sometimes when I’m taking him out to potty, he sees a small animal like a rabbit or bird, and just charges towards it. Yesterday while I wasn’t there and my brother was waking him, the doggo charged after a baby bird and killed it. I’m not sure whether this is normal or not, but have you ever experienced that? It kind of makes me scared to bring him around my nieces and nephews, although I’m not going to do that until he’s fully trained anyways. Sorry for all the questions haha, I will ask my vet tomorrow and my neighbors once the dog is allowed to exercise. I really genuinely appreciate the help and wishes, I hope you continue to have an amazing time with your doggo as well!
No worries! its always better to ask questions and understand your pup a little more . Yes thats completely normal for Huskies or any dog in general to get excited over small animals or kids. The more they are trained and mature over time the more you will be able to trust them with certain things. I just taught Simba how to interact and play with some baby Guinea pigs my sister just bought and when he was a younger puppy that kind of thing would of scared me to attempt.
I usually feed him at 12 pm for his lunch and 6pm for his dinner and since hes still under 2 years old i give him puppy kibble that helps him grow healthy and strong from pedigree. And mix in some lean chicken once or twice a week to get him used to it.

He is a pure bred Siberian Husky and yea he was really into escaping as a pup and now hes very calm lol we keep him distracted and with us most of the time
Congrats on your new puppies! Yes it is a little harder to find them, I had to wait a few weeks because it was hard to find a husky with his color and eyes there wernt many places near me that offered pups like him.

Mine has the markings of a husky and the ice cold blue eyes - but his ears are floppy yet sometimes stand- I’m thinking he’s a Shepard mix?? I actually need help figuring this out...

Usually theres a schedule for breeding huskies of all types and colors when you get them through a farm , but white huskies with blue eyes are a bit more rarer to find, mostly i emailed all around and online selling sites until i found an opportunity in one of the pet stores (petland) and i got a great deal and decided to add him to the family. If you do decide to go through a pet store read the contract and purchase very carefully , I almost got tricked into paying more by doing monthly installments so just something to consider
I'm going to give you some advice, dont ever leave your dog home with it's collar or harness on. it can hang itself, especially if its trying to make the great escape from the pen.
I guess My case with Simba was a little rare, they were asking $5,000 for him and he came with this huge package of benefits but this was when covid was first going on and nobody knew what was going to happen with the economy so after much negotiation , I was able to get Simba for $1,500 which was my initial plan to spend and they dropped all the benefits that would have came with him, so i think i got lucky that i stayed within my budget , good luck! I hope you can find one that fits within your budget
Check with rescue foundations first before buying from a breeder. So many huskies get given up because people can't handle them. They need a home more than breeder puppies. How I got mine and he looks just like the pup in the video. Got him dna tested and both his parents had traveled here from siberia. Makes me question why someone would throw him away. He is a rebel with endless energy though lol.
Huskies can be outside just as much as they are inside but i like to keep him outside only when il be busy or when he has too much energy so maybe every 4-5 hours we will play in the yard

Luckily mine only chewed up floors and couches but not his kennel lol but after his 4months i rarely had any issues with him teething
