How did Pillars of Rome get in Oregon?

100 foot tall Roman-like Pillars occur near Rome, Oregon (so named by Oregon trail pioneers because they looked so much like Roman pillars). They are beautiful, assessable and some are on BLM land so they can be explored first hand. They are easy to get to, and fun to see so definitely worth checking them out! #Pillarsofrome #sagebrush #romeoregon
