Well it's their job and they literally sign contracts and when these people date their partners are made aware that their profession involves intimacy with other people.I think that's why actors prefer dating other actors because they are able to have the same acceptability mindset.But I have to admit absence of the concept of intimacy coordinator was definitely a concerning factor for shows like TVD especially when you hear stories of Candice having to play pranks to break the ice when it isn't ever her job.Filming sex scene is the least likeable aspect of this job for every actor(even Cilian Murphy recently talked about it) but it's a job and there should be proper guidance to make both actors feel comfortable and mentally ready.A trained and certified professional directing the steps is of utmost importance like they do on Bridgerton.Even though tvd sex scenes were never anywhere near what they do on Bridgerton ,still when you hear how risky it was for Paul and Candice to film a sex scene when Candice was 5 months pregnant you'd be like what the hell was the network even thinking?The main actress on Outlander was pregnant and she admitted she was able to film the intimate scenes during her pregnancy solely because of the support she had from the intimacy coordinator.
