Yes it wasn't expected. This was during a G.O where F trains were going to Euclid Avenue and turning around. We were waiting for the next A train to Lefferts. Just so happens that they sent this F train and a few others after to Lefferts why i have no idea. The conductor of this train was smart enough to sign the train up as an A being the fact that at the time, thy didn't have a programmed code for the F to Lefferts via the A.
Well, whoever it is they voice the announcements on the (A), (C), and (F) trains and those announcements are kind of annoying but the (B), (D), (N), (Q), (R), and (W) train announcements are very perfect and it would be cool if all the train but the numbered trains had the (B), (D), (N), (Q), (R), and (W) train announcements

You couldn't be wore wrong. the 6 & 7 line will be swapping cars due to the fact that the & are getting brand new cars called the R-188's. the R62A (Old cars) on the (6) now are from the 7 line. all the old cars from the 7 will eventually make there way over to the 7. the cars on the 6 (R142A's) will be converted to 188's before they start service on the 7. the 7 will be CBTC equipped (Computer Based Train Control). the line will be monitored and controled..including train operation by a pc.
EXTREME FALSE INFORMATION! The (A)pple doesn't use R-160 because of a Weight problem. they will not give the line R-160 just to run them to Lefferts. This was due to a G.O, this is actually a (F)ox train. and if your talking about the R32/R160 Swap. that's only because ENY's R-160's are being SMS'd. The (A) and (C) do not run R-160's....it is very rare to see these NTT's on those lines. and if you wanna talk about overheating...the R-160 cannot run properly on the (C)harlie. they have.....
Actually Supervision Can't shut their asses up because they're in charge of the Yards fleet and what is used on their lines. without supervision, you wouldn't have any trains to take you where your going faster....Yard moves and swaps are all controlled under the yards supervisions power. They have the last say. And technically as i previously mentioned. they do not run them on that because they are too heavy and the Salt from the water off the Rockaway branch would eventually fry the consists computers which means more fare hikes. now idk about you but if you want to spend $10 one way on the subway then be my guest and write the MTA your suggestion and opinion and see how far it will get the agency and us as a people when it comes to everyday commutes.

They need to start using the express track more often and also does the express track connect to the Pitik Yard

Yes, the R160 are permanent on the C train, pretty soon MTA is gonna get rid of the R32 and R42 trains once the R179 comes.
