Dr Meenesh Shah | Managing Sustainable Transitions 2023

Dr. Meenesh Shah boasts a distinguished career spanning over 37 years in the dairy sector, marked by significant contributions in Research & Development, Product & Process Development, Project Appraisal & Finance, Cooperative Services, Project Management, and Strategic Decision Making. Serving as the Chairman of MDFVPL, IIL, IDMC, NDDB Dairy Services, and NDDB MRIDA, he actively advances the goals of NDDB, addressing various aspects of our animal husbandry and dairy sector, ranging from animal and human health to dairy machinery, institution building, marketing of milk and milk products, and manure management.
Dr. Shah is a key figure on the Governing Boards of numerous premier institutions in the country. Additionally, he holds the position of Member Secretary of the Indian National Committee of the International Dairy Federation and is a member of the Standing Committee on Dairy Policies and Economics of IDF.
Notably, Dr. Shah participated in the "International Conference on Managing Sustainable Transitions in Agriculture: Newer Directions for Research and Civic Action," held from November 16 to 18, 2023. During this event, he addressed the challenges faced by agriculture and farmers, emphasizing the need for sustainable solutions. Dr. Shah underscored the importance of evolving sustainable approaches in agriculture to tackle global agricultural issues effectively.
