      Thanks Brenna. For sure. There will be less downtime from now on. Every few weeks. I have to use them for a while to give a proper review. Next up is the Peak Solice. I’ve been running it for a month now in my rotation.

    Great review. I bought one on your recommendation and I’m really satisfied with this machine even with regular Kwadron cartridges.
    It saturâtes so nice for such a short 3.7 stroke.
    Thank you

      You’re welcome. Yes it is great with Kwadron and Black Claw needles as well. It’s still my all time favorite shader.

      Thanks James. I appreciate it man. Glad you dig the quality too. I’m putting a ton of time into it and really trying to cut it down and crunch in all the info in as short a time as possible.

    So I was rewatching this video and I realized my original comment never posted when you released the video (pretty sure we talked about it on I.G.). I just wanted to say great work as always buddy, random question though, how do you wrapp the X2?

    • @tyatx9258
      @tyatx9258  Před rokem

      Hey Ben. Yes we did! Bottle bag from the battery down and tape to the grip and Co-flex same as any machine. The bottle bag gives you plenty of room to adjust needle depth.

    What do you think about Scorpion 1 vs 2? Is it only different stroke, nothing else? Thank you :)

    • @tyatx9258
      @tyatx9258  Před rokem +1

      The stroke is slightly shorter but the motor is stronger and more efficient and the drive magnets for the neocarts have been upgraded and redesigned as well. If you still haven’t pulled the trigger, you should be considering the Cobra.

      @@tyatx9258 You must try acus m1. It is a much more versatile, stronger cobra injected with steroids that will make you love it.

  • @HectorValenzuelahuglife

    Do you find there is a difference between using the neo carts and standard? I’m considering getting the scorpion but don’t know if the investment in the neo carts is worth it if the standard works just as well. You insight is appreciated

    • @tyatx9258
      @tyatx9258  Před 2 lety +2

      Neo carts are completely different. The saturation is faster and less aggressive on the skin. Wether or not you spend the $35 extra for the neo cart kit and $20 for a box of carts would be personal choice. I like them and they are definitely the real deal for color. Standards work very well too but magnetic give certainly is better. Either way the machine is top notch whichever way you go. You can also change back periodically too. I use it with standard carts for whipping dot shading but use the neocarts for color. It’s very versatile.

      I second that Neo carts are awesome saturate awesome Less skin irritation Nice black and gray and color fades with Neo carts I bought the scorpion X2 first just with traditional needle cartridge set up and like a week later I bought the Neo Set up completely a different machine love it so much more

      @@tyatx9258 thanks for you advice. I’ll try out the neo carts to get the full experience!

  • @itsonlyforevertattoos8544

    Hi, I know you're also a fan of the Neuma 4 machine. Would you have a preference between the X2 and the Neuma 4? Thanks 👍🏻

    • @tyatx9258
      @tyatx9258  Před 2 lety +2

      This is very different if you are used to direct drives. There is a slight learning curve. The Neuma 4 is still my favorite liner. I am enjoying the magnetic carts again and have used this system on and off since it’s original release. My shaders are always changing.

    How is the Scorpion vs a regular rotary when it comes to lining?

    • @tyatx9258
      @tyatx9258  Před 2 lety +1

      Although I can line with it, I prefer a hard hitting fast liner for the larger work I do. This would be great For people who line slower or build up lines. Or an artist who’s style uses minimal line work.

    • @baroquetattooclub1402
      @baroquetattooclub1402 Před 2 lety +2

      I used it today for the first time and if you are used to regular rotaries it lines very well. If you are into Kubins and that kind of hard hitting rotaries or coil machines it will slow you down.
      But with so low vibrations and skin trauma you’ll be able to do awesome linework.
      Hollow needles are awesome with it.

  • @learnthrivecompassion422

    It bogs on rubber but does it bog on skin?

    • @tyatx9258
      @tyatx9258  Před rokem

      Yes it has full magnetic give. No drive bar. 4 different motor strengths and two drive magnet strengths.
