Strange... it actually reminds me of a menu mode in an old game called 'Tron 2.0” (which came well before Tron Legacy).
The sound design ins phenomenal. Can you site some name of sfx you use? Like what is that bassy ambience and all that stuff. I just want to search it and break it down. It sounds sooo good.

I just came back to this, cause I watched an Ad just now, in which there were some screens drawn in a virtual environment. Those sounds, I like them, but where do they come from? Like the briefing screens in the original C&C and later ones as well I think. I recognised that sound immediately and asked myself where it comes from. The first time I heard it was C&C if I remember correctly. I was wondering if anyone here can tell me more. I loved the feeling of importance of the scenery and the task at hand, that it gave me back then :-D And I saw and heard a version of this sound effect for screens and windows appearing in "science fiction" and "future" screaming scenes all over the place, in games and otherwise. Anybody even know what I'm talking about? And maybe even has heard earlier versions of this? :-) Greetings
